JOB OVERVIEW

We Are Hiring: Map-Graphic Video Editor

This role is not for basic editors. We need someone who can create map animations, motion graphics, and clean visual explainers for short-form videos.

Reminder: Please do not apply if you currently have another full-time job. We are looking for someone who can fully commit to this role.

Role Details
* Full-time, remote
* 40 hours/week
* up to $1000/month, depending on experience
* Long-term position

Responsibilities
* Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
* Create map animations, location highlights, route animations, and callouts
* Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and music
* Match visuals with scripts and voiceovers
* Deliver clean, engaging, high-quality edits on time

Requirements
* Strong experience with map graphics or map animations
* Confident in After Effects
* Experience editing short-form content
* Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual clarity
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work 40 hours/week
* Good communication and open to feedback

Preferred:
* Experience with Google Earth Studio, GeoLayers, Mapbox, or similar tools
* Experience with educational, geography, history, politics, economics, or explainer-style content
