Product & Growth Lead — SaaS (Remote, Full-Time)

About us
We're a US-based company building SaaS for the construction trades. Our parent business is a fast-growing commercial electrical contractor operating in Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, and San Francisco. The SaaS product is being built to solve real workflow pain we've lived ourselves — estimating, bid operations, and sales — and we're now hiring a Product & Growth Lead to drive adoption and shape the roadmap as we scale.
You'll work directly with the founder and a small engineering team. This is a high-ownership seat, not a coordinator role.
What you'll own

Product strategy & roadmap. Translate customer pain into prioritized features. Run discovery calls, synthesize patterns, and d ---------- what we build next (and what we don't).
Growth. Design and run experiments across activation, retention, and expansion. Own the funnel end-to-end: landing pages, onboarding, in-product nudges, lifecycle email, pricing tests.
US customer research. Talk to US-based construction operators (GCs, subcontractors, estimators). Understand their workflows, their language, and what makes them switch tools. Bring those insights back into the product.
Positioning & messaging. Write copy that resonates with US tradespeople — direct, practical, no fluff. Iterate based on conversion data.
Analytics. Define the metrics that matter, instrument them, and report on them weekly. Be the person who actually knows whether what we're shipping is working.

Must-have experience

4+ years in product management, growth, or a hybrid role at a B2B SaaS company
Demonstrated wins you can walk us through in detail — a feature you shipped that moved a metric, an experiment that lifted conversion, a pricing change that worked, etc.
Direct experience selling to or building for US customers — you understand how US small/mid-sized businesses make buying decisions, what objections sound like, and how to communicate in plain American English
Fluency in product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, or similar) and comfort writing SQL or working with data without an analyst holding your hand
Strong written English — you'll be writing customer-facing copy, internal specs, and research synthesis

Bonus

Experience with vertical SaaS (construction, field services, trades, blue-collar industries)
Background working with technical founders or early-stage products (pre-PMF or just past it)
Have run customer discovery interviews and can show us your interview guide / synthesis template

Compensation & terms

Full-time, remote
Monthly salary paid on the last business day of each month (prorated for partial first month based on days worked)
Performance bonuses tied to product metrics — paid the next business day after milestones are hit, no cap
Performance and compensation review every 3–6 months
Salary range disclosed after the first call, based on experience
