A B O U T T H E B R A N D
We are launching Bougiè Babies, a premium natural dog treat subscription box based in Queensland,
Australia. Think a boutique French gift shop run by someone who absolutely adores dogs. This is a
premium boutique brand, not a discount or dropship store. Our customers are lifestyle-conscious dog
owners who treat their pets as family.
We are a small business and this is an ongoing role. We are looking for someone to grow with us as the
brand grows.

W H AT Y O U W I L L B E D O I N G
INITIAL BUILD: THE SHOPIFY STORE FROM SCRATCH
You will be building the Shopify store from scratch following a detailed wireframe and design brief that
we will provide. Specifically:
Set up the Shopify store on our account (we will add you as a staff user)
Install and configure a premium Shopify theme
Build the homepage, collection pages, product pages, cart drawer, and content pages exactly as
shown in our wireframe
Set up product templates including a subscription product with monthly/3-month/6-month selling
plans
Set up navigation, footer, announcement bar, and email signup form
Configure shipping zones for Australia only
Set up legal pages using Shopify's policy generator

Add placeholder products with the data we provide
Set up Shopify email automations and flows if needed (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-
purchase)

ONGOING: MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE THE STORE
Once the store is live, you will move into an ongoing support role. Tasks may include:
Adding new products and updating product information
Building new landing pages for campaigns and launches
Updating homepage sections, banners, and promotions
Managing collections and navigation as the range grows
Setting up and refining Shopify email flows
General Shopify admin tasks (order tagging, customer support setup, theme tweaks)
Small design tasks within Shopify (banner images, section layouts)
Whatever small business admin work needs doing in the Shopify dashboard
We are a small team and the role will flex with what the business needs week to week.

W H AT W E N E E D I N Y O U
Required: - At least 2 years of Shopify build experience (please link to live stores you have built) -
Strong experience with Shopify Subscriptions or Recharge subscription apps - Experience setting up
Shopify email flows and automations - Excellent attention to detail. We will check spacing, alignment,
and typography on every page - Fluent written English - Reliable, proactive communication -
Comfortable working async (we will not be on calls) - Can deliver Loom walkthroughs to communicate
progress - Strong design sensibility. You can tell the difference between a premium boutique store and
a generic dropship store - Reliable, ongoing availability. We want someone who can grow with us
Nice to have: - Experience building stores for premium lifestyle, food, or pet brands - Basic Shopify
Liquid knowledge for small custom tweaks - Experience with subscription-based DTC brands
This is NOT for you if: - You have only built basic dropship stores - You need detailed step-by-step
instructions for every task - You are only looking for a one-off project - You cannot work async - You use
AI to write your application without reading the brief - You add unnecessary apps or "growth hacks"
without being asked
