WE NEED THE EDITOR WHO MAKES "THIS VS THAT" FEEL IMPORTANT

I am hiring a part-time TikTok editor for a fast-growing Trading Card Game (TCG) content brand. This post is for editors who specialize in comparison content: side-by-side, before/after, this vs that.

Comparison content is one of the highest-engaging formats on TikTok because it forces a comparison the viewer wants to resolve. We want editors who can produce "$1 pack vs $500 pack," "this fake vs real Charizard," "graded vs raw value comparison," "old set vs new set price growth," and similar formats.

WHAT YOU WILL EDIT

- 10-12 comparison videos per day, Monday to Friday
- 30-60 second comparisons with strong split-screen, side-by-side, or sequential reveal structure
- Topics: price comparisons, real vs fake card detection, raw vs graded value, set vs set comparison, old vs new card art, opening different pack types
- Heavy use of split-screen, transitions, before/after wipes, freeze frames
- Output 9:16 vertical, deliver via Drive

STYLE REFERENCE

---------- ---------- on TikTok for brand energy. For comparison style specifically, look at side-by-side product comparison content on TikTok (sneakers, makeup, food). These are reference accounts only, not the brand you will be editing for.

REQUIREMENTS

- 6+ months short-form video editing experience
- Portfolio with comparison, before/after, or versus content
- Strong split-screen and side-by-side editing skills
- Comfortable with sync timing for parallel reveals
- Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Available Mon-Fri, 5 days/week, around 1.5 to 2 hours/day
- Filipino editors preferred for timezone alignment

BONUS POINTS

- Knowledge of TCG market values and price tracking
- Motion graphics for animated price labels, value reveals, percentage growth
- Experience with reveal-pattern editing (slow build, sudden payoff)
- Familiar with Pricecharting, TCGplayer, eBay sold data

COMPENSATION

PHP 16,800/month (paid weekly at PHP 4,200 every Friday). 10-12 comparison videos/day x 5 days = 50-60 videos/week. Performance bonuses after 60 days.
