We're after a Spine animator who makes characters breathe, symbols pop, and wins feel like an event.
Remote, full-time, part-time.
What you'll do
1. Animate characters, symbols and scenes in Spine
Bring assets to life believable plasticity, emotion, reactions and secondary motion across slots.
2. Animate UI, effects and micro-interactions
Buttons, panels, win states and pop-up effects that stay snappy in fast-paced gameplay.
3. Prep and rig assets
Structure layers, rig characters, and turn raw art from the 2D team into clean, animation-ready Spine skeletons.
4. Work with game artists and producers
Shape how characters move and behave features, special modes, and the "hit" moments that matter: spin, win, super win.
5. Export and optimize
Lean skeletons and clean, correctly looping cycles that run smooth in-engine.
6. Document your motion
Clear notes on movement logic, character structure, states and interactions, so the work is easy to pick up and extend.
7. Support trailers and marketing
Animation pieces for promo videos, splash screens and key-visual motion.
Who we're looking for
Spine experience required
Commercial experience in gaming or iGaming (freelance counts)
Strong character and UI animation skills
Solid grasp of motion principles anticipation, squash & stretch, timing, weight
Skeletal optimization know-how
Animation portfolio / showreel required
