Animator Wanted – Short-Form Social Media Content (Instagram & TikTok)

We’re looking for a creative animator to produce short-form animation videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok for Kulan Beauty.

We’re a fast-growing beauty brand building a new social media page focused on cute, relatable animation content centred around beauty, girlhood, and everyday “girly” ---------- nts. The goal is to create fun, highly shareable content that feels current, aesthetic, and genuinely engaging for our audience.

What We’ll Provide

• Clear concepts, scripts, and creative direction for each video
• Character/avatar designs and layouts already created
• Visual references, inspiration, and style direction

We’re mainly looking for someone to:
• Animate the existing characters/avatars
• Design backgrounds and environments that match the overall vibe
• Bring the concepts to life in a polished, engaging way for short-form social media

The style we’re after leans towards:
• Hand-drawn / fashion illustration inspired visuals
• Cute, modern, feminine aesthetics
• Strong use of colour, textures, layering, and visual storytelling
• A fun internet-culture feel that works well on TikTok/Reels

Role Details

• 3 short animation videos per week
• $150 AUD per week
• Remote / freelance
• Long-term opportunity with room to grow alongside the brand

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience creating animations for short-form social media
• Has a strong eye for colour, composition, and texture
• Understands modern internet culture and trendy “girly” aesthetics
• Is creative, reliable, and able to take direction well
• Is versatile and open to potentially expanding into graphic design work in the future (though the main focus for now is animation)
