About Us
We're a US-based real estate investment/wholesale company that buys houses directly from homeowners in Ohio. We're a small, fast-moving team and we're hiring a sharp, reliable cold caller to work with us long-term. If you perform well, there's real room to grow — more hours, raises, and lead-based bonuses are all on the table as we scale.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll call homeowners from a list we provide and follow a simple script. This is NOT a hard-sell role. Our leads are highly targeted — we're calling property owners who match specific criteria, so most of the heavy lifting is done before you ever dial.
Your job on each call:
Make outbound calls using our dialer (Mojo Dialer — we'll train you)
Follow our script (it's short and straightforward)
Confirm if the homeowner is open to selling their property
Ask two simple qualifying questions: timeframe and price
Hand the qualified lead off to me and my partner for the follow-up call
Log every call and lead accurately in our system
That's the entire role. We handle the deal-making, negotiating, and closing. You're the first voice they hear — we need that voice to sound professional, warm, and confident.
What We're Looking For
Required:
Fluent, clear English with minimal accent — non-negotiable. You'll be speaking with American homeowners, many of them older, and they need to understand you easily on the first try.
Confident, friendly phone presence — calm, never pushy
Reliable high-speed internet (25 Mbps or higher) and a quiet workspace
Quality USB headset with noise cancellation
Available 3 hours per day, Monday–Friday, during US Eastern Time business hours
Ability to follow a script accurately
Strong note-taking and attention to detail
Coachable — open to feedback and willing to improve
Nice to have (not required):
Previous cold calling or telemarketing experience
Previous experience in US real estate (wholesaling, acquisitions, or dispositions)
Familiarity with Mojo Dialer or similar dialers
Familiarity with Podio CRM
Why This Role Is Different
Most cold calling jobs are brutal — random lists, angry homeowners, hundreds of dials with nothing to show. Ours isn't like that. Our lists are targeted, so the conversations are generally calm. The script is short and we've removed the parts that usually trip new callers up. If you can hold a normal conversation in English, follow a simple flow, and take good notes, you'll do well here.
We respect your time. We pay on time. We don't micromanage. We just want someone reliable who shows up, follows the script, and helps us build the pipeline.
How to Apply
To apply, please send a message that includes:
A voice recording (1–2 minutes) of you introducing yourself in English and reading the following two sentences out loud:
"Hey Mr. Johnson, this is Mark. I was reaching out to see if you would be interested in selling the house on 1247 Maple Street? Awesome, thank you — while I'm getting your property pulled up, can I ask you a couple of quick questions so I can pass everything along to my partner?"
Brief answers to these questions:
Do you have previous cold calling experience? If yes, what industry and how long?
Do you have previous US real estate experience? If yes, please describe.
What is your internet speed? (Please run a quick speedtest.net and tell me the result.)
What headset/microphone setup do you use?
Are you currently working another job? If yes, are you confident you can commit to 15 hours/week during EST business hours?
What time zone are you in, and what hours can you reliably work?
?? Applications without a voice recording will not be reviewed. This is the most important part of your application.
Hiring Process
Review of voice recording and written application
Short video interview (10-15 minutes)
Paid trial week (15 hours, $4/hr) to confirm fit
Long-term hire
What I Will NOT Tolerate
Showing up late or missing scheduled shifts without notice
Going off-script or making promises to sellers we can't keep
Lying on call notes or skipping leads
Heavy accents that homeowners struggle to understand
If any of those are issues, this isn't the role for you. But if you're reliable, coachable, and want a stable long-term position with a company that treats you well — apply.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
