JOB OVERVIEW

A design-led consumer brand based in Vancouver, Canada is hiring a senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead performance and growth across Shopify, Meta, Google, and Amazon.

This is a startup environment: fast-moving, dynamic, and hands-on. There’s no playbook. The systems, campaigns, and channels you build now will become the foundation for future scale. This is a senior role with real ownership over budget, channel strategy, creative direction on performance, and outcomes. You’ll work directly with the founders.

What you’ll own

Performance marketing strategy and execution across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Amazon Ads
Full-funnel approach across prospecting, retargeting, and retention
Shopify storefront performance: conversion rate optimization, landing page testing, on-site merchandising
Amazon Ads management including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and DSP where relevant
Campaign planning, budget allocation, and pacing across channels
Weekly and monthly performance reporting: ROAS, CAC, contribution margin, conversion rate, channel contribution, blended performance, LTV
Audience building, creative testing frameworks, and tight feedback loops to the creative team on what’s working
SEO fundamentals on Shopify and on-platform optimization on Amazon

Email
and SMS performance where it intersects with paid (retargeting flows, abandonment, post-purchase, win-back)
Building dashboards, reporting cadence, and systems that enable scalable growth
Helping shape the long-term growth plan as product categories and geographies expand

What we’re looking for
7+ years experience running digital marketing for consumer brands
Track record managing meaningful budgets (six figures monthly or more) across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Amazon Ads
Demonstrated ability to scale a DTC brand profitably
Strong Shopify experience including conversion optimization and analytics
Experience working with international consumer brands, ideally premium or design-led
Fluent in the metrics that matter: ROAS, CAC, contribution margin, LTV, payback
Strong written and spoken English
Analytical and creative in equal measure
Able to operate independently and lead the function without close management
Startup mindset and comfort building systems from scratch

Nice to have
DTC experience with premium or design-led brands
TikTok Ads experience
Experience with Klaviyo, Postscript, or similar email/SMS platforms
Influencer or affiliate marketing experience
Experience launching new product categories or market expansions
Fluency with AI tools and automation

Hours and pay
Full-time, remote
Significant overlap with Pacific Time required
USD $2,500–$3,500/month depending on experience
Performance reviews every 6 months with growth opportunities as the company scales
