JOB OVERVIEW

Join AEK Media, an award-winning digital marketing agency, and work remotely with a global team. You’ll help manage paid campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest and more.

This role is ideal for someone who already has hands-on paid media experience, wants to take greater ownership of campaign performance, and is eager to develop into a well-rounded digital marketer.

----------

Your Role

Manage Paid Advertising

Build, manage, monitor and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other platforms.

Own Campaign Performance

Regularly analyse results, identify opportunities and make optimisation decisions rather than simply following a checklist.

Client Setup & Tracking

Assist with client onboarding and ensure conversion tracking is implemented accurately across advertising platforms, GA4 and Google Tag Manager.

Reporting

Build and maintain clear reporting dashboards using Looker Studio and Google Sheets, turning campaign data into useful insights.

Strategy & Analysis

Develop campaigns around the customer journey, understand the role of different channels and use data to determine where budget should be allocated.

Commercial Thinking

Understand that campaign success goes beyond clicks and leads. Consider lead quality, conversion rates, acquisition costs, customer value and the commercial objectives of each client.

Collaboration

Work closely with strategists, creatives, developers and account managers to improve campaign performance and deliver strong client outcomes.

Website Updates

Make minor updates to client websites and landing pages, and coordinate larger changes with our development team.

About You

2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns, ideally across multiple client accounts.

You should be comfortable independently working inside Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, rather than having only reporting or account coordination experience.

You have experience with campaign setup, audience targeting, keyword research, bidding, budget management, creative testing and ongoing optimisation.

You can look at campaign data and explain what is happening, why it is happening and what you would do next.

You understand key performance metrics such as CPA, CPL, ROAS, conversion rate, CTR and CPC, and know when each metric matters.

You have working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking. Experience troubleshooting tracking issues is highly regarded.

You are comfortable working with Google Sheets or Excel and can confidently analyse campaign data.

You have strong attention to detail. You notice tracking discrepancies, incorrect URLs, budget issues, broken landing pages and other small problems before they become bigger ones.

You are proactive and comfortable taking ownership. If you see an issue, you investigate it and suggest a solution rather than waiting to be told what to do.

You can manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.

You communicate clearly in writing and can explain marketing performance to people who may not have a technical marketing background.

You are curious and want to understand why something works rather than simply replicating what you have seen elsewhere.

Highly Regarded

Experience managing campaigns across both lead generation and eCommerce accounts

Experience with LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads or other paid media platforms

Looker Studio reporting experience

WordPress or Elementor experience

Landing page and CRO knowledge

Basic understanding of SEO

Experience working within an agency

Experience managing meaningful advertising budgets across multiple accounts

Why AEK Media?

Work remotely with a globally recognised, award-winning team.

Work across a diverse range of industries, campaign types and digital channels.

Develop your skills beyond simply managing ads, with exposure to strategy, analytics, CRO, creative, websites and broader digital marketing.

Take on greater responsibility as your skills develop, with genuine opportunities for career progression.

Join a culture that values transparency, merit and action.

Our Values

No Black Boxes – Transparency in all we do

Do Things Today, Not Tomorrow – Take action and keep things moving

Open Forum – Good ideas can come from anyone

Don’t Avoid the Details – The small things often make the biggest difference

Consider the Commercial – Marketing needs to deliver meaningful business outcomes

How to Apply

We welcome applications from people who may not meet every requirement. However, we are looking for candidates with genuine hands-on paid media experience who can demonstrate how they think about campaign performance.

Along with your CV, please include brief answers to the following:

1. Which advertising platforms have you personally managed?
2. What approximate monthly advertising budgets have you been responsible for?
3. Tell us about one campaign you improved. What was underperforming, what did you change and what happened?
4. What is your experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking?
5. How many client accounts or campaigns have you managed simultaneously?
6. What is one optimisation you would investigate if a campaign’s CPA suddenly increased by 50%?
7. Which areas of digital marketing are you most interested in developing over the next two years?

We’re less interested in textbook answers than in understanding how you think, how much ownership you’ve had, and how you approach solving problems.
