PeriscoPe is looking for a performance-driven Paid Search (PPC) Marketing Specialist to join our growing business.
This is an opportunity to work with a high-performing digital agency specialising in eCommerce managing campaigns for ambitious ecommerce and lead generation brands across Australia and international markets. You’ll play a key role in developing, managing, and optimising paid media strategies that drive measurable business growth for our clients.
About the Role
As our Paid Search (PPC) Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting of paid search campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta.
You’ll work closely with our wider digital marketing team across SEO, creative, analytics, and strategy to deliver high-performing campaigns focused on growth, efficiency, and ROI.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who are excited by the evolving role of AI, automation, and data in modern performance marketing, and who are keen to help shape how these technologies are implemented across client campaigns and internal workflows.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and execute paid search strategies designed to drive qualified traffic, revenue, and conversions for clients
Manage and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and other paid media platforms
Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to uncover growth opportunities
Write compelling ad copy and build high-performing campaign structures aligned to client objectives
Continuously optimise bidding strategies, budgets, landing page performance, and audience segmentation
Analyse campaign and conversion data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
Leverage AI-powered tools and automation platforms to improve campaign performance, reporting efficiency, and workflow processes
Identify opportunities to integrate automation, scripts, and emerging AI technologies into campaign management and agency operations
Deliver clear and actionable performance reporting to clients and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with our broader strategy, SEO, and creative teams to ensure integrated digital marketing execution
Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, automation developments, AI tools, and emerging paid media opportunities
What We’re Looking For
3+ years’ experience managing paid search campaigns in an agency or fast-paced digital marketing environment
Proven experience driving strong performance outcomes across Google Ads and other paid media platforms
Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, analytics, and performance reporting
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and related reporting tools
Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
Excellent communication and client management skills
A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a genuine passion for digital marketing and performance media
An interest in AI, automation, and emerging marketing technologies, with a willingness to experiment and innovate
Experience using AI-assisted tools for optimisation, reporting, creative ideation, or workflow efficiency is highly regarded
Understanding of automated bidding strategies, feed-based campaign management, and performance automation best practices
Ecommerce and feed-based advertising experience
Performance Max and advanced automation strategies
CRO and landing page testing experience
Data visualisation and dashboard reporting
Hands-on experience with AI marketing tools, scripts, or automation workflows
