JOB OVERVIEW

Praline’s Backyard Foundation is a U.S.-based nonprofit that helps survivors of domestic violence find safe temporary care for their pets through foster homes and boarding partners.

Many survivors delay leaving unsafe situations because they do not know where their pets can go. Our mission is to remove that barrier and help keep pets safe during times of crisis.

We are looking for a caring, organized, and dependable Virtual Assistant to join our growing team.

## Position Details

* Remote Position
* Based in the Philippines
* Part-Time
* Flexible schedule with some overlap with U.S. hours preferred
* Starting at 20 hours per week
* Opportunity for long-term growth

## What You Will Do

### Donation Receipts

* Send donation receipts to donors
* Keep donor records organized
* Help make sure donors feel appreciated and supported

### Survivor Case Triage

You will help organize incoming survivor cases daily by labeling them as:

* Immediate housing needed for pets
* Investigating
* Active foster placement
* Active boarding facility placement

### Email Management

* Help manage the Foundation inbox
* Respond to routine emails
* Flag urgent or sensitive situations
* Keep communication organized

### Foster & Boarding Support

* Contact foster volunteers
* Reach out to boarding facilities and veterinary offices
* Help coordinate safe placements for pets

### Additional Administrative Support

* Data entry
* Spreadsheet updates
* Flodesk email support
* Event preparation support leading up to our annual Atlanta 3K Dog Walk/Run & Festival in May
* Other duties as assigned

We are looking for someone who is:

* Good at written and spoken English
* Reliable and responsive
* Comfortable learning new systems and software

## Bonus Experience (Not Required)

* Experience working with U.S.-based nonprofits
* Donation receipt experience
* CRM or database management
* Email marketing platforms like Go High Level
* Customer service or case management experience
