ABOUT CHARLIE'S COLLECTIBLE SHOW
Charlie's Collectible Show (CCS) is a family-friendly hobby and collectible marketplace where anime fans, TCG players, retro game hunters, Hot Wheels collectors, sports card enthusiasts, Funko Pop collectors, and artists come together every weekend. Free entry. Free parking. Every time.
We run permanent weekly events in Atlanta and Houston, with Raleigh launching July 2026. Orlando and Chicago are next. We are building the infrastructure to scale — and this role is a core part of that infrastructure.
THE ROLE
The Community Coordinator is the human voice behind CCS's social media accounts every weekday. You are the first person our community hears from when they send a DM, leave a comment, or tag us in their haul video. You make every follower feel seen — and that feeling is what turns a first-time attendee into a regular.
This role is not about posting content. Our content team handles that. This role is about activating content the
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Own and actively manage all CCS social media accounts across 3 locations (Atlanta, Houston, Raleigh — and soon Orlando and Chicago) as the primary community voice — every day, every platform, every interaction
2. Be the first responder for all DMs, comments, and messages across Instagram,
3. Activate content three times daily (~9AM, ~12PM, ~5PM EST) — add background music, location tags, like, repost, and share to Stories within 30 minutes of each post going live
4. Build Story stacks — layer related past content on top of new posts at every publish
5. Engage with every CCS tag — like, comment, and Story-share community content from vendors, attendees, and fans. Reply to what's actually in the post, not generic emoji.
6. Manage the CCS
7. Coordinate escalations with precision — when a question needs a team answer, forward it clearly with full context so the team can respond fast and nothing falls through the cracks
8. Track community patterns, FAQ gaps, and Story performance daily — your observations directly feed the team's weekly strategy
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
We want to set clear expectations so you can focus on what matters.
1. You are not scheduling content
2. You are not writing captions or creating graphics — that is the Marketing and Creative Team's pipeline
3. You are not approving paid ads
4. You are not making vendor relations decisions — escalate anything beyond FAQ scope
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-haves.
1. 2–3+ years actively managing Instagram,
2. Experience managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously
3. Working understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, trending audio, and video formats
4. Strong written English — warm, sweet, and community-native. You are the voice and face of CCS to our followers.
5. Strong ear for trending music and audio — you match sound to fandom energy, not just whatever's popular
6. Manages multiple accounts and daily windows without dropping threads
7. Consistent follow-through on escalations — every loop gets closed, every sender hears back
Good to Have
1. Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite
2. Knows how Stories, Reels, and feed posts serve different purposes and activates accordingly
3. Eye for what community content is worth reposting versus worth a reaction only
4. Genuine interest in at least one CCS fandom — trading card games, anime, Hot Wheels, sports cards, Funko, retro gaming, comics, or art
5. Experience with a scheduling or analytics tool (Metricool, Later, Hootsuite, or similar)
