About Us
We are the Golden Horde, an e-commerce company in the pain relief space. We did $10M+ in 2025 and we're on track to hit $25M in 2026. We're scaling hard this year — and Google + YouTube is the channel we're betting our trajectory on.
The Role

We need someone to own Google and YouTube end-to-end. Right now, no one does. The account spends ~$90K/month, and every week it sits without a driver is a week we're not scaling.
This is the seat where the channel lives or dies. You set the strategy, run the buying, brief the creative team on what's working, and report directly to the CEO.

We don't have a spend cap. We have a profit floor. If you can find another $50K/month at target ROAS, we will fund it. Your job is to scale spend as aggressively as profit allows — without breaking ROAS.

What You'll Do

Campaign Management & Scaling
Launch and manage Google Search, PMax, Shopping, and YouTube campaigns
Own the ~$90K/month current spend and build the plan to scale it past $200K/month profitably
Build audience structures, bidding strategies, and YouTube creative testing frameworks
Navigate Google's health & wellness ad policies — handle disapprovals, compliance rewrites, and landing page fixes without losing days to back-and-forth

Creative Feedback Loop (YouTube)
Brief the creative team on what's winning — angles, hooks, CTAs, pacing
When ads get disapproved, diagnose why and tell the creative team exactly what to change: script, visual, or claim language
Close the loop fast: disapproval to fixed version live in 48 hours

Analysis & Optimization
Pull daily performance data from Google Ads, GA4, and attribution tools (Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros, or similar)
Identify winners, kill losers fast
Written weekly review: ROAS, CPA, CTR, spend pacing, and the decisions behind them

Communication & Ownership
Daily Slack EOD: what you built today, what changed in the accounts, what the data is telling you, and your call on what's next
Weekly 1:1 with the CEO — come with recommendations, not asks
Flag account issues (disapprovals, policy flags, billing problems) within 1 hour of discovery
Bring a scale thesis on day 1, refine it by day 7. We don't need an auditor. We need an operator.

What We're Looking For
Proof of work first. You've personally managed Google Ads accounts at $100K+/month for at least 12 months. In the technical interview, you'll walk us through a live account you've actually scaled — campaign structure, change history, ROAS trend, the decisions you made.
Scale, not maintenance. You've taken an account from X to 2X or 3X in spend while holding ROAS. If you've only ever maintained what someone else built, this isn't the role.
YouTube ads — non-negotiable. You've built and scaled YouTube campaigns, not just Search and PMax. Show us the accounts.
Creative direction confidence. You can brief a video team on what to change about a hook, a script, or a claim — not just "make a new ad."
DTC e-commerce experience. Health, wellness, fitness, recovery, or pain relief background preferred. You know how Google evaluates health-vertical landing pages.
Fluent across the Google stack: Google Ads Manager, GA4, Google Merchant Center, Google Tag Manager, YouTube Studio.
Attribution literacy. You've used Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros, or similar — and you can explain why last-click is a lie.
You overcommunicate. You send updates before being asked. If something breaks, the team hears about it from you first — not from the dashboard.
Strong written and spoken English. You'll be on camera with the CEO weekly.
Stable internet and backup power. Non-negotiable for managing $90K+/month in live spend.

Nice-to-Have: Microsoft Ads (Bing)
If you know Microsoft Ads, you'll mirror our Google campaigns onto Bing with a budget we'll agree on
Not required to apply, but a bonus if you can show Bing accounts you've built

Compensation & Benefits
$5,000 USD/month base salary
Performance bonus tied to ROAS and spend-scale milestones — activates after successful 3-month probation
Flexible hours (weekly CEO overlap required)
Paid holidays
Paid VL and SL

Closing
If you can look at a $90K Google + YouTube account in the pain relief space and already see where the next $100K of profitable spend is hiding, we want to talk.
