Job Description
The Google Ad Account Specialist is responsible for creating, updating, and managing all aspects of Google Ad campaigns for Stories Marketing’s Christian non-profit and pregnancy center clients. The Google Ad Account Specialist is also responsible for updating and creating landing pages, tracking with Google Analytics, and providing technical support for WordPress, CMS, and Wix websites.

Requirements

Strong project-management skills with the ability to prioritize, organize, and coordinate multiple projects at once
Self-motivated, detailed individual with outstanding communication, organizational, and time management skills
Eager to learn about changes in search (organic and paid) and provide ideas for how to incorporate emerging trends and technology into internal practices
Two years of experience in managing Google Ads accounts (localized Search and Display campaigns) for multiple clients
Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Trends, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Workspace
Experience in SEMrush, RankMath, Yoast, or other similar SEO tools, with an understanding of how SEO and Paid Search strategies work together
Strong analytical skills to use data in Google Ads and Google Analytics to identify performance trends and understand how the data shows opportunities for improvement within a Google Ads account
Experience in creating, editing, and optimizing landing pages on WordPress and Wix websites to increase conversion rates
Preferred Experience
Managing Google Ads for pregnancy centers and/or pro-life organizations
Google Search Ads certified
Creating custom conversion actions in Google Ads
Creating or editing multi-channel marketing KPI dashboards (Looker Studio, AgencyAccess, DataBox, etc.)
Editing HTML for element formatting
Working knowledge of third-party analytics tools like Hotjar, CallRail, or others

Responsibilities
Communicate with clients to explain what the analytics reveal about the Google Ads account performance, answer their questions, recommend next steps, and to receive approval for changes.
Lead the setup for new Ads accounts (creating new accounts and onboarding new clients), which includes developing client-specific targeting and messaging strategies, setting up multiple campaigns, overseeing the landing page development, and implementing conversion tracking.
Manage a dedicated set of Google Ads accounts, which includes managing monthly ad spend budgets, updating bid strategies and targeting to achieve the lowest cost per conversion, editing keyword lists, writing and A/B testing ad copy, and updating landing pages.
Work closely with the Google Ads, SEO, Website, and Account Management teams to ensure strategies align, Ads account changes are implemented on time, and website launches are coordinated with updating Google Ads assets.
