JOB OVERVIEW

This role requires advanced accessibility expertise and attention to detail, rather than general graphic design capability
alone. The specialist supports the remediation and production of complex documentation to meet WCAG 2.2 AA and PDF accessibility standards, ensuring outputs are compliant, usable, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities
• Produce high-end, accurate finished art across complex, long-form financial services documentation.
• Create accessible interactive form PDFs using Adobe InDesign and Acrobat.
• Remediate existing documents to meet WCAG 2.2 AA and PDF accessibility standards.
• Apply and validate correct tagging, reading order, alt text, structure, and logical document flow.
• Conduct screen reader testing and accessibility validation.
• Ensure all documents meet compliance requirements within regulated environments.
• Liaise with IVE stakeholders to clarify briefs and accessibility requirements.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail and technical accuracy.

Essential Skills & Experience
• Experience working within corporate brand guidelines and compliance frameworks.
• Advanced Adobe InDesign skills — complex layouts, long-form documents, print and digital production.
• Proven experience creating accessible interactive PDFs in InDesign and Acrobat.
• Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and PDF accessibility standards.
• Demonstrated experience remediating documents for accessibility compliance.
• Confident conducting screen reader testing and validating tagging, reading order, alt text and document structure.
• Experience working with regulated or financial services documentation highly regarded.

Accreditations & Desirable Skills
• Accessibility accreditations or formal accessibility certifications.
• Familiarity with Common Look PDF or other remediation tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for document formatting.
