JOB OVERVIEW

We are an Australian e-commerce store specialising in designer lighting and furniture. We are looking for a creative and reliable Social Media Manager / AI Content Creator to help grow our Instagram and TikTok pages organically.

This is a long-term role for the right person.

MAIN TASKS

- Create social media posts for Instagram, Facebook and ----------
- Create Stories using Canva
- Create Reels and TikToks
- Edit product photos and videos
- Write captions, hooks and content ideas
- Engage with relevant accounts through comments, likes and follows
- Help grow our followers organically
- Turn product pages into social media content

AI SKILLS REQUIRED

- Must be confident using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Canva AI or CapCut AI
- Must be able to use AI to create better ideas, captions, scripts, content calendars and social media concepts
- Must be able to edit and improve AI output so the content sounds natural, premium and on-brand
- We are not looking for someone who just copies and pastes AI output

TOOLS

- Meta Business Suite
- Canva
- CapCut or similar video editing tools
- Instagram
- TikTok
- ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini

REQUIREMENTS

- Excellent English writing skills
- Good design sense
- Social media experience
- Video/photo editing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisation skills
- Creativity and initiative
- Reliable computer and internet connection
- Proactive attitude and ability to suggest ideas

HOURS

- This role will start on a part-time basis
- Hours will depend on workload, experience and performance
- Preferred availability is during Australian business hours
- There may be an opportunity to increase hours over time
- No weekend work required
