JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a highly reliable bilingual (or multilingual) tea ---------- mber to help us localise digital marketing and social media content for Nordic markets.

You must be fluent in English and fluent/native in at least ONE of the following languages:

• Swedish
• Danish
• Norwegian
• Finnish

If you speak multiple Nordic languages, that is a major advantage.

This role is primarily focused on helping us adapt English digital marketing and social media content into natural, local-language versions for Nordic audiences.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Translating English content into natural, fluent local-language content (not robotic literal translations)
• Reviewing translations for localisation, cultural relevance, tone, and accuracy
• Using CapCut (or similar software) to edit existing videos and replace English text/subtitles with translated versions
• Assisting with adapting short-form social media content for Nordic audiences
• Helping bridge communication between English and local-language markets where needed
• Reviewing creative assets to ensure messaging feels native to each market

This is NOT a high-end video editor role — basic editing skills are completely fine and can be taught. The priority is excellent spoken and written language ability, strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Native or near-native fluency in at least ONE of:

* Swedish
* Danish
* Norwegian
* Finnish

• Translation / localisation experience
• Basic CapCut editing ability
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Fast communicator
• Comfortable working independently

Bonus if you have:

• Fluency in multiple Nordic languages
• Experience translating marketing / advertising content
• Experience with social media creative content
• Understanding of subtitles, captions, localisation, and short-form video editing
• Voiceover / dubbing capability

Work structure:

Initially part-time at approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to grow depending on workload.

Payment:

Open to either:

• Hourly rate (recommended range: $10–15 USD/hour depending on experience)
OR
• Per-project / per translated concept ($20–75+ USD depending on complexity)

When applying, please include:

1. Your hourly rate
2. Which Nordic language(s) you speak
3. Your fluency level for each language
4. Your English fluency level
5. Examples of translation / localisation work (if any)
6. Any CapCut / video editing examples
7. A 30–60 second voice recording introducing yourself in English + your Nordic language
8. The word “NORDIC” at the top of your application so we know you read this
