We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and confident Customer Care & Quote Coordinator to help manage customer communication for a fast-growing high-ticket outdoor products company.
Our customers are purchasing premium chicken coops, duck coops, outdoor buildings, and custom setups ranging from several thousand dollars to well over five figures.
This role requires someone who can confidently communicate with customers, keep conversations moving forward, build trust, and manage many moving parts without becoming overwhelmed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Following up warm inbound leads
Helping customers through the quote process
Answering customer questions by text,
Collecting customer information, measurements, and site photos
Helping organize and manage shipping and delivery communication
Following up on unanswered quotes and keeping conversations active
Assisting customers with financing information and next steps
Updating CRM systems and customer notes
Helping create a smooth, personal customer experience from first inquiry through delivery
This role involves managing multiple active customer conversations, changing priorities, custom orders, shipping coordination, and time-sensitive follow-up.
You must be comfortable working in an environment where details matter, responsiveness is important, and customers are making major purchasing decisions.

Many customers spend days or weeks researching before purchasing. The ideal candidate understands how to build trust, communicate consistently, and professionally guide conversations over time.

Customers often have questions involving:
Custom coop layouts
Shipping logistics
Gate and access clearance
Site preparation
Ventilation options
Electrical add-ons
Breed-specific setups for chickens, ducks, geese, and other poultry
Delivery timing and coordination
Financing questions
Customization requests
You must be comfortable learning detailed product and logistics information over time.
BASIC MATH REQUIREMENTS
Basic math skills are important for this role.
You should be comfortable with:
Calculating square footage and dimensions
Reading measurements and layouts
Basic algebra and problem solving
Understanding simple calculations related to coop sizing, layouts, and customer setup questions
You do not need advanced math skills, but you should be comfortable working with numbers and dimensions confidently and accurately.

PAY STRUCTURE
Compensation will depend on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process.

Customers often ask how many chickens can comfortably fit inside different coop sizes. A comfortable amount of interior coop space is approximately 4 square feet per chicken.
Please calculate the square footage and approximate comfortable chicken capacity for the following coop sizes:
Coop A: 6 ft x 8 ft
Coop B: 8 ft x 12 ft
Then briefly explain which coop provides more interior space and approximately how many additional chickens it could comfortably accommodate.
