JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper (non-CPA welcome) to join our growing organisation on a full-time, long-term basis.

?? Important: This is a direct hire, exclusive position. We are not accepting freelancers, agencies, or part-time applicants.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with UK accounting and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate books
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain and reconcile ledgers (sales, purchases, general ledger)
• Bring accounts to trial balance stage
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and tax-related reports
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Process payroll and pension contributions
• Generate reports and support management with financial data
• Perform general administrative and bookkeeping tasks as required

Requirements
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Experience with Xero and/or QuickBooks (preferred, training available)
• Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information

Work Setup Requirements
• Quiet and professional home workspace
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Personal PC or laptop
• Willing to work with screen sharing tools (due to sensitive financial data)

Working Hours
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (UK / London time)
• 8-hour shift with 1-hour unpaid break

Compensation & Benefits
• Php 30,000/month (Probation)
• Php 35,000/month upon regularisation
(Final offer may vary depending on experience and expertise)

• 13th month pay
• 22 days paid leave (including Philippine regular holidays)
