About the Role
We're looking for a Dental Biller to help our customers improve insurance collections. This role sits at the center of the revenue cycle from submitting clean claims with proper attachments, working denials and appeals, posting payments, and chasing down outstanding A/R across a wide mix of dental payers. We work with practices across general dentistry and specialty offices, and the billers who thrive here are the ones who have seen the full payer mix and can move between contexts.
This role is a chance to help shape how we work, so we want a teammate who's curious about new tools, willing to try new approaches, and excited to help us figure out what works.
What You’ll Do
* Submit clean, complete claims with all required attachments and proper CDT coding.
* Post insurance payments and adjustments accurately against EOPs and reconcile against the PMS.
* Work aging reports to bring down outstanding AR, prioritizing by timely filing risk and dollar value.
* Work denials and appeals — gather documentation, draft correspondence, and submit appeals per our playbooks.
* Verify eligibility and benefits when needed to resolve claim issues.
* Coordinate with client practices on coding, documentation, and patient eligibility questions.
* Communicate clearly with payers, clearinghouses, and client offices to move claims to resolution.
* Work closely with our software engineering team to surface issues, fine-tune internal tools, share what’s working, and improve our platform.
What You’ll Bring
* 3+ years of dental billing experience — broad exposure across multiple practices, specialties, or payer mixes is a strong plus.
* Strong experience with major dental PMS (Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Curve, or similar) and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
* Strong written and verbal English communication.
* Detail-oriented and a strong, problem-solving mindset.
* Familiar with Google Workspace tools and Google Chat.
* Knowledge of and commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
* A team-player interested in improving internal systems and workflows.
* Available during US business hours.
