We’re building some of the most recognised brands in the short-term rental and accommodation industry.

Our work includes direct booking websites, event websites, landing pages, podcast content, digital marketing, email campaigns, and operational support for three growing brands:

STRIVE Conference
Industry events and awards for property managers, accommodation owners, and suppliers.

The Accommodation Show
A long-running podcast featuring leaders in hospitality, travel, tech, and short-term rentals.

iBooked.online
A digital agency helping accommodation businesses grow direct bookings through websites, SEO, automation, and marketing strategy.

Right now, we’re looking for a WordPress-savvy Virtual Assistant / Junior Web Developer who can help us manage, update, and improve websites across these brands.

This is ideal for someone who enjoys websites, tech, digital content, and problem-solving.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

This role is focused mainly on WordPress, website updates, landing pages, content uploads, and digital support.

Website and WordPress Support

You’ll help with tasks such as:

Updating WordPress pages and website content
Making simple edits using Elementor or similar page builders
Uploading images, text, videos, and podcast assets
Creating and editing landing pages
Checking website layouts on desktop and mobile
Updating buttons, links, forms, and calls to action
Helping with basic website formatting and design clean-up
Supporting SEO updates such as meta titles, descriptions, headings, and image alt text
Checking pages for broken links, missing images, or errors
Digital Brand Support

You may also help with:

Uploading podcast episodes and show notes
Preparing simple blog posts or website articles
Updating event pages for STRIVE Conference
Adding speaker, sponsor, and partner details to websites
Organising website assets in Google Drive
Supporting email campaign setup and website-related announcements
Tech and Admin Support

You’ll also assist with:

Google Workspace tasks
Organising spreadsheets and website content lists
Working with tools like WordPress, Elementor, Canva, email platforms, and social schedulers
Testing forms, links, and website flows
Helping document website processes and simple SOPs

You won’t just be following instructions. We want someone who can spot website issues, suggest improvements, and help make our digital brands look more professional.

Who This Is Great For

This role is ideal if you:

Have basic to intermediate WordPress experience
Are comfortable using Elementor or similar website builders
Enjoy working on websites and digital content
Have a good eye for layout, spacing, formatting, and mobile responsiveness
Are organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Like learning new tools and improving processes
Want long-term work with growing brands in the accommodation and events space

You do not need to be a senior developer. However, you do need to be confident making website updates and solving simple website issues.

Skills We’re Looking For

Must-have skills:

WordPress experience
Basic Elementor experience
Strong written English
Good attention to detail
Confidence using Google Workspace
Ability to follow instructions and document processes
Reliable internet connection and home setup

Nice-to-have skills:

Basic SEO knowledge
Basic HTML/CSS
Experience with landing pages
Canva experience
Website QA/testing experience
Experience with hospitality, travel, accommodation, or events brands
Hours, Flexibility & Setup
Around 20 hours per week to start
Potential to grow to more hours depending on performance and project needs
Remote and flexible
Work can be spread across 5 to 6 days
Long-term contractor role
