ABOUT US

Cedar Mill Firearms Family is a US-based e-commerce brand selling firearm storage and EDC accessories. We sell on Amazon, BigCommerce, and Shopify. Brand voice is practical and responsible, NOT tacticool-aggressive. Our customer is the responsible-storage adult, not the LARP operator. Color palette leans neutral (charcoal, sand, deep green) with safety-orange accents.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

You will own product imagery, Amazon A Plus Content modules, social media visuals, and landing page graphics. Design Amazon main and secondary listing images at 1600 by 1600. Build A Plus Content modules, Premium A Plus when applicable. Adapt imagery for IG square, TikTok 9 by 16, FB feed, email banners. Run all designs through our brand color system. Coordinate with the Email Marketing VA for campaign visuals. Maintain a clean Figma or Canva library.

WHAT YOU MUST ALREADY KNOW

REQUIRED, Photoshop AND Illustrator (or Figma), not just Canva.
REQUIRED, Amazon image guidelines (no overlay text on Image 1, etc).
REQUIRED, A Plus Content module specs, Premium A Plus familiarity is a bonus.
REQUIRED, cross-format thinking (the same product photo serves three audiences with three reading habits).
REQUIRED, honest about where you use AI tools (MidJourney, Stable Diffusion) vs hand-made.

PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT, MUST READ

Applications without portfolio links will NOT be scored. Include 2 to 3 portfolio URLs in the Google Form, Behance, Dribbble, Google Drive, or your own site. For each portfolio piece, you must list your specific role (not just "designer", but "I did the layout but not the photography"). You will also be asked to share a workspace screenshot (layer panel plus canvas) so we can see file hygiene.

HIRING PROCESS, 4 STAGES

Stage 1, apply via our Google Form with portfolio links, 15 minutes.
Stage 2, if shortlisted, 120 minute evaluation task, unpaid screening, includes a real Amazon Image 2 design.
Stage 3, 45 minute video interview via Google Meet.
Stage 4, paid trial week at the agreed rate, then full hire decision.
