We are a busy U.S.-based family law firm seeking a licensed Filipino lawyer to support our attorneys with substantive legal work. It is best suited for a strong legal writer who is highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
About This Role
This is a legal support position, not a U.S. attorney role. You will not practice U.S. law, give legal advice to clients, or appear in court. You will work behind the scenes supporting our U.S.-licensed attorneys. Your legal training is essential to this work, which is why we require a licensed lawyer.

Conduct legal research on U.S. and state-specific family law issues using resources we provide
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, declarations, and correspondence for attorney review
Review and summarize case documents, financial records, and discovery materials
Prepare case timelines, summaries, and memos
Help build and maintain document templates and internal legal workflows
Communicate with our attorneys to refine work product

Law degree and current admission to the Philippine Bar in good standing

Demonstrated legal writing experience, with samples you can share
Near-native written English. Your writing will be tested before hire
Clear American accent and strong spoken English
Prior experience supporting a U.S. law firm or doing U.S.-based legal work
Able to commit to a consistent full-time schedule with the required U.S. hours overlap
Seeking a long-term role, not short-term or freelance gap work
Able to complete a paid test project as part of the hiring process
Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Computer with at least 16GB RAM, able to run Microsoft Office and cloud-based legal practice management software smoothly
