JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT MARKET MUSCLES

Market Muscles is the all-in-one marketing and management platform built for martial arts schools, dance studios, gymnastics facilities, and fitness businesses. We combine AI-powered websites, CRM software, and marketing automation to help studio owners grow their businesses. We're looking for a Marketing Assistant to help us scale our content engine and keep our marketing machine running consistently.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We need someone who can execute. This isn't a strategy-only role — you'll be in the trenches every day producing content, managing campaigns, coordinating approvals, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work across podcast production, blog writing, social media, email marketing, paid ads, webinars, and lead magnet creation. If you like checking things off a list and seeing the output of your work published across multiple channels every single week, this role is for you.

????????????????????????????????????????
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
????????????????????????????????????????

• Social Media Content Creation & Posting — Create and publish content across three platforms: Market Muscles Facebook Page, Market Muscles Instagram, and the private Market Muscles Client Facebook Group. Each platform requires tailored content (educational posts, client wins, product updates, tips, engagement posts).

• Content Calendar Management — Maintain the content calendar, schedule upcoming posts, and track what's in progress, what's awaiting approval, and what's been published.

• Approval Workflow Management — Submit all content (blog posts, social posts, emails, ad creatives, webinar materials) to the Marketing Manager for approval before publishing. Track approval status and keep things moving so nothing bottlenecks.

Facebook Ads Monitoring — Check ad performance daily, flag underperformers, pause/adjust as needed, and ensure budgets are pacing correctly.

• Community Engagement — Monitor and respond to comments/engagement on social posts and in the client Facebook Group.

• Clip Creation & Editing — Edit short-form video clips from podcast episodes and other content for social media distribution (or coordinate with freelance editors to meet deadlines).

????????????????????????????????????????
WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES
????????????????????????????????????????

• Podcast Episode Production (1x/week) — Coordinate the full production cycle for each episode:
? Develop topic ideas and episode outlines (informed by customer calls, marketing brainstorms, and industry trends)
? Prepare show notes and talking points
? Edit or coordinate editing of the recorded episode
? Publish the full episode to podcast platforms (Apple, Spotify, etc.) and YouTube
? Create 3–5 short clips per episode for social media
? Write and send a podcast promotion email to our list

• Blog Posts (2x/week) — Write, format, and submit two SEO-optimized blog posts per week for the Market Muscles website. Submit each post for approval before publishing.

• Weekly Newsletter (1x/week) — Populate the existing newsletter template with recent product launches, latest blog posts, upcoming webinars, helpful tips, and relevant company news. Submit for approval and send.

• Internal Marketing Report (1x/week) — Compile and deliver a weekly report covering:
? All content published that week (blog posts, social posts, podcast episodes, emails)
? Volume metrics (how many pieces across each channel)
? Facebook Ad spend and performance (impressions, clicks, leads, cost per lead)
? Total leads generated across all channels
? Webinar registrations (if applicable)
? Notable wins, observations, or recommendations

• Podcast Syndication & Distribution — Ensure each episode is distributed to all relevant platforms and promoted through email and social channels within the same week it's recorded.

????????????????????????????????????????
MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES
????????????????????????????????????????

• Lead Magnets (2x/month) — Create two new downloadable resources per month — guides, cheatsheets, checklists, templates, or similar assets that generate leads and provide value to studio owners.

• Webinar Planning & Execution — Own the end-to-end webinar process:
? Ideation: Come up with webinar topics and outlines based on client needs, industry trends, and marketing goals
? Content Creation: Build slide decks and supporting materials once topics are approved
? Promotion: Create landing pages for webinar registration, write and schedule promotional emails, and post across social channels
? Post-Event: Send replay emails, repurpose webinar content into blog posts or social content

Facebook Ad Campaign Planning — Plan and build new ad campaigns, refresh creatives, test new audiences, and present a monthly ad strategy to the Marketing Manager for approval.

• Content Planning for the Month Ahead — Plan the social media calendar, blog topics, podcast episodes, newsletter themes, and any coordinated campaigns for the upcoming month.

• Monthly Performance Review — Go beyond the weekly reports to summarize monthly trends: what content performed best, what drove the most leads, what to double down on, and what to cut.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
????????????????????????????????????????

Must-Haves:

• Execution Speed — You can produce a high volume of quality work consistently without things falling apart.

• Content Creation Skills — Strong writing ability (blog posts, email copy, social captions, ad copy) with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms.

• Video Editing (Basic to Intermediate) — Comfortable editing podcast episodes and creating short-form clips. If you're not an editor yourself, you need to be excellent at managing freelance editors — assigning work, reviewing output, and holding deadlines.

• Social Media Management Experience — Proven experience running business social accounts (Facebook, Instagram) including content creation, scheduling, and community management.

Facebook Ads Experience — Hands-on experience setting up, managing, and optimizing Facebook/Meta ad campaigns.

• Organized and Process-Driven — You can manage an approval workflow, keep a content calendar up to date, and produce weekly reports without being asked.

• Comfortable with Tools — You'll be working across multiple platforms (WordPress, email marketing tools, social schedulers, podcast hosting, webinar platforms, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Sheets, Canva or similar design tools).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in the fitness, martial arts, or studio business space
• SEO knowledge (keyword research, on-page optimization)
• Landing page design/build experience
• Experience with webinar platforms (Zoom Webinars, WebinarJam, etc.)
Email marketing platform experience (building automations, segmenting lists)
• Graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite)
• Familiarity with AI tools for content ideation and drafting

First 30 Days:
• Fully understand our brand voice, products, and target audience (studio owners)

• Weekly internal reports are landing without being asked for

• Lead volume grows month over month through consistent output across all channels
