Job Description: In-House Recruitment Specialist
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced In-House Recruitment Specialist to join our team and support recruitment across our e-commerce community and e-commerce brand.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident in headhunting, candidate outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, and managing recruitment pipelines from first contact through to booked interviews. You will work directly with our internal team to identify, approach, and engage high-quality candidates for a variety of roles within the e-commerce space.
The ideal candidate has strong recruitment experience, excellent English communication skills, and a proactive, organised approach to sourcing talent.
Key Responsibilities
* Use LinkedIn Recruiter to source, headhunt, and engage potential candidates.
* Identify high-quality candidates for roles within our e-commerce community and brand.
* Write and send professional outreach messages to prospective candidates.
* Manage candidate communication from initial contact through to booked calls.
* Organise and schedule calls with suitable candidates.
* Maintain an organised recruitment pipeline and keep candidate records up to date.
* Screen candidates based on experience, communication skills, role fit, and availability.
* Work closely with the internal team to understand hiring needs and role requirements.
* Provide regular updates on candidate progress, sourcing results, and hiring pipeline status.
* Represent the company professionally in all candidate interactions.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience.
* Strong experience with headhunting and direct candidate outreach.
* Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Strong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate screening, and pipeline management.
* Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
* Confident communicating with candidates at different levels of seniority.
* Able to work independently and manage multiple searches at the same time.
* Strong ability to assess candidate quality and cultural fit.
* Experience recruiting for e-commerce, marketing, sales, operations, or online business roles is a strong advantage.
Nice to Have
* Experience recruiting for e-commerce brands, agencies, online communities, or digital businesses.
* Familiarity with roles such as media buyers, copywriters,
* Experience using applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, or project management platforms.
* Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Boolean search and advanced sourcing techniques.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are a skilled recruiter who knows how to find and engage strong candidates. You are comfortable using LinkedIn Recruiter every day, writing persuasive outreach messages, and managing multiple conversations at once.
You have a professional communication style, a high level of English, and the ability to represent our brand well when speaking with potential candidates. You are organised, fast-moving, and confident in your ability to build a strong candidate pipeline.
