JOB OVERVIEW

Hello!

We're a fast-growing D2C e-commerce brand selling personalized illustrated products. We've built a strong base in one European market and are scaling to a second one. We need someone to own the Meta Ads + creative strategy side of that scaling effort.

This is **NOT a generic VA role**. We're looking for someone who thinks like a media buyer AND a creative strategist AND uses AI tools (Claude, Claude Cowork,) as a daily workflow — not as a gimmick.

If you read Common Thread Collective, follow Barry Hott / Sam Piliero / Dara Denney, have used Foreplay or Motion, and get genuinely excited about a 25% lift in hook rate — keep reading.

__________________________________________________

**WHAT YOU'LL OWN**

- Define the weekly creative testing roadmap (hooks, angles, formats, offers)
- Build creative briefs for our illustrators / video editors
- Launch, manage, and optimize Meta Ads campaigns daily — flag fatigue, scale winners, kill losers based on a clear framework
- Creating ads (video or image) is optional but recommended
- Deliver a written weekly brief: what worked, what didn't, hypotheses for next week
- Sync weekly with the founder on what to copy/test/drop across markets

_____________________________________________________________________________

**REQUIRED**

- 2+ years hands-on Meta Ads for D2C e-commerce (NOT lead-gen, NOT B2B, NOT info-products)
- Solid grasp of ROAS, MER, CAC, LTV, AOV, CTR, CPM, frequency, hook rate, hold rate, creative fatigue
- English fluency
- Daily user of Claude (you can explain what a "context file" is)
- Track record with brands past $20k/month spend (smaller OK if the thinking is sharp)

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Claude Cowork or Claude Projects · Shopify · Klaviyo · creative-driven brand experience (fashion, anime, fandom, gifting) · European market exposure

____________________________________________________________________________________

You only know how to boost posts, run lead-gen, do $5-50/day dropshipping, or use AI just to "write ad copy."

___________________________________________________________________________________________

**HOURS**

20 hours/week to start, growing to full-time within 60-90 days based on results. Long-term role.

**HOW TO APPLY**

Applications missing any of these get ignored.

**1. Subject:** `META BUYER NL - [Your Name]`

**2. Cover note (max 200 words):**
- Why you're a fit
- ONE Meta Ads project where YOU made a non-obvious decision that worked — what was the data, decision, outcome
- How you currently use AI in your weekly workflow (specific, not generic)

**3. Mini-task (the real filter, 300 words max):**

*A D2C brand selling premium custom-illustrated products (AOV €50-80) has been running Meta Ads for 6 months. Last week ROAS dropped from 2.8 to 2.1. Spend stable at €400/day. Frequency on top 3 ads between 2.9 and 3.4. CPM up 18% WoW. Carousels outperforming videos for the first time. Black Friday in 3 weeks.*

Answer:
- Your hypothesis (not a list of possibilities — pick one)
- 3 actions you'd take this week, in priority order
- The exact Claude / AI prompt or workflow you'd run to dig deeper

We read every qualified application personally and reply within 7 days.
