Overview
We are seeking a highly communicative and clinically knowledgeable professional to join our growing patient engagement team.
This is a voice-based patient intake and qualification role focused on speaking directly with prospective patients, answering inbound inquiries, conducting outbound follow-up calls, educating patients on treatment options, and scheduling phone consultations or phone appointments with providers.
The ideal candidate combines strong medical understanding with excellent communication skills, empathy, confidence on the phone, and the ability to guide conversations effectively. This role requires both clinical acumen and a proactive patient engagement mindset.
This is a full-time, long-term remote opportunity with growth potential and monthly performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
* Speak directly with prospective patients through inbound and outbound phone calls
* Educate patients on treatment options, processes, and next steps
* Gather patient medical information and assess qualification criteria
* Schedule appointments and coordinate provider consultations
* Build trust and maintain a professional, empathetic patient experience
* Handle patient questions and objections confidently and professionally
* Accurately document patient interactions and intake details
* Maintain productivity, call quality, and conversion goals
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth patient onboarding and follow-up
Requirements
* Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Medical Doctor (MD/DO), LVN/LPN, Medical Assistant, Clinical Specialist, or similar healthcare role
* Strong medical knowledge and ability to communicate clinical information clearly
* Excellent verbal communication and phone presence
* Comfortable handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
* Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable documenting patient information
* Ability to work full-time and meet performance expectations
Highly Preferred
* Experience in patient intake, care coordination, patient engagement, telehealth, or healthcare support
* Experience in outbound calling, inside sales, appointment setting, intake coordination, or consultative sales
* Experience converting leads into scheduled consultations
* Familiarity with EMR/EHR, CRM, or dialer systems
* Experience in healthcare services, wellness, specialty care, or medical devices
