Marketing Data & Analytics Specialist (Freelance / Part-Time)

The Lavender Agency is seeking a Marketing Data & Analytics Specialist to support client reporting, analytics infrastructure, and performance tracking across a portfolio of fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and luxury-adjacent brands.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable translating marketing data into clean, actionable insights. We’re looking for someone who can both set up analytics foundations correctly and maintain consistent weekly reporting across multiple client accounts.
Responsibilities
• Set up and maintain marketing analytics infrastructure across client accounts
• Configure and audit GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Meta tracking, and related tools
• Verify proper event tracking, conversion tracking, and attribution setup
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards for clients and internal use
• Pull and organize weekly performance reports across channels
• Monitor KPIs including traffic, conversions, ROAS, CAC, CTR, engagement, and funnel performance
• Identify data discrepancies, tracking issues, and reporting gaps
• Support campaign tracking and UTM implementation
• Collaborate with strategy and paid media teams to ensure reporting aligns with business goals
Ideal Candidate
• Strong experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
• Experience building dashboards in Looker Studio (Google Data Studio) required
• Familiarity with Meta Ads reporting and e-commerce analytics
• Understanding of attribution, funnels, and conversion tracking
• Comfortable working across multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Able to present data clearly and concisely
• Experience supporting agencies or multiple brands is a strong plus
Preferred Experience
• Shopify analytics
• Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar
• Klaviyo/email reporting
• Basic understanding of paid media performance metrics
• Experience troubleshooting analytics implementations
Compensation
Freelance / project-based or hourly. Compensation based on experience and technical capability.
Most engagements fall between $12–$30/hour depending on experience, reporting complexity, and implementation skill level.
