WANTED: Detail Obsessed & AI Savvy Bookkeeper VA

We run multiple dental offices and other businesses and currently have, no proper bookkeeping system. I need ONE highly reliable Bookkeeper VA in the Philippines to:
1) Clean up this year’s books, and
2) Keep everything accurate and up to date every week and month.
This is long?term work for the right person.

What You Will Do
**Phase 1 – Cleanup (Current Year YTD):**
- Set up **QuickBooks Online** (or clean/fix the existing file).
- Connect all business bank and credit card accounts.
- Design a **simple, clear chart of accounts** that makes sense for dental offices.
- Set up **locations/classes** for each office.
- Categorize and reconcile all transactions for this year.
- Deliver clean, accurate **P&L and balance sheet** for year?to?date.
**Phase 2 – Ongoing (Weekly & Monthly):**
- **Weekly:**
- Categorize all new transactions.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Flag any unclear items with short, clear questions to me.
- **Monthly:**
- Close the month in QuickBooks.
- Provide:
- **P&L by location** (each office broken out).
- Summary of major expenses (marketing, payroll, rent, software, etc.).
- 5–10 bullet **plain?English summary**: what changed, what looks off, what I should watch.
Your success metric: **Books always up to date, accurate, and easy to understand.**

AI Is Required
You must already be using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to:
- Draft simple written summaries of financials (“explain this P&L in plain English”).
- Create and improve SOPs/checklists for recurring bookkeeping tasks.
- Help with categorization rules, memo parsing, and catching anomalies.
- Speed up reconciliations and reporting without sacrificing accuracy.
If your AI experience is “I tried ChatGPT once,” this is not your role.

You’re a Fit If…
- **3+ years** bookkeeping for US or international clients.
- Strong **QuickBooks Online** experience (QBO is mandatory).
- Have done at least one **historical cleanup** project (messy ? clean).
- Comfortable working with **multiple entities and multiple bank/credit accounts**.
- Excellent **attention to detail** and consistent formatting.
- Solid written English (you can explain numbers clearly and simply).
- PH?based, stable internet, and can do a quick **weekly check?in on US time**.

Compensation
- One?time **project fee** for this year’s cleanup (we’ll agree after seeing your sample work).
- Then **part?time ongoing**: likely **10–20 hours/month** at **$7–$10 USD/hr**, depending on experience and performance.
- Long?term, stable work if you keep the books clean and on time.
