JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and reliable AI Illustrator to join
our small international team long-term.

We are an Italian and Dutch e-commerce brand that creates custom
anime-style portraits for fans. We transform real people into anime
characters with a premium style, consistent with our brand and that
looks hand-drawn.

IMPORTANT: To prove you read this post carefully, please start
your application with the word "PIRATE" — applications without this
word will be ignored.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will transform real customer photos into anime-style illustrations
(we will tell you which specific anime style for each project),
following detailed briefs we provide. Specifically:

- Generate ONLY the character figures (humans, dogs, animals)
WITHOUT backgrounds — backgrounds are applied afterwards by
another tea ---------- mber
- Use our already-documented workflows and prompts (we provide
them, with detailed step-by-step examples)
- Work with Nano Banana Pro and ChatGPT Image 2 — we provide
the tools
- Iterate and adapt the workflow when standard prompts don't
work — you must be able to solve problems independently
- Also generate the outline (line art) version of each illustration
- Make sure illustrations ALWAYS look hand-drawn, never "AI-generated"
(no plastic skin, no glassy eyes, no anatomical errors, no "AI sheen")
- Communicate with the team via ---------- — tasks with clear deadlines

Once you get into the rhythm, the work is fast: with our workflows,
a well-done design takes just a few minutes if you follow our
standardized system.

COMPENSATION

- $1 USD for every completed and approved design
(character + outline)
- The more designs you create, the more you earn — no monthly cap
- Payments via your preferred method, every 2 weeks
- Paid AI tools (Nano Banana Pro, ChatGPT Image 2) are provided
by us: zero costs on your side
- Estimated workload: 20-50 designs per week (varies based on
order volume and your skills)
- Monthly bonus for consistent quality and reliability

OUR STANDARDS (please read carefully)

We are a premium brand and our standards are high. To be fully
transparent:

We DO NOT accept judgment errors (double hat, extra swords,
wrong outfits compared to the brief, missing details, faces
that don't resemble the customer, wrong style)
We DO NOT accept low quality or output that looks "AI-generated"
(we will provide many references you can use)
We DO NOT accept off-brand illustrations
We DO NOT accept people who slow us down or can't work
independently

We are looking for someone aligned with our way of working,
able to improve us with ideas and suggestions
Our team is a blast: friendly, supportive, will guide you
through onboarding and will always be available for support
and feedback

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

MUST HAVE:

- Real experience with Nano Banana Pro and/or ChatGPT Image 2
(show us real examples, not screenshots found online)
- Artistic eye to spot "AI looks" and errors (anatomy, hands,
proportions, wrong accessories)
- Creative eye to make decisions based on your own taste and
good judgment
- Ability to iterate and solve problems when prompts don't work
on the first try
- Obsessive attention to stylistic consistency
- Good written English (asynchronous communication via ---------- )
- Stable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines

NICE TO HAVE:

- Knowledge of Canva and/or graphic tablets (Wacom, Huion or similar)
- Knowledge of anime aesthetics and characters
- Background in illustration, character design or anime art
- Genuine knowledge of and interest in the anime world

HOW TO APPLY

rate (with tools provided by us)
7. Your TWO favorite anime series and why — please be honest, we
can easily tell when someone isn't truly a fan. If you're not
into anime, that's totally fine, just say so

We will reply to qualified candidates within 5 days with a small
paid test ($10) before any final decision.
