JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing dropshipping business looking for an experienced and proactive Customer Service Specialist who can do more than just answer tickets. We need someone who understands the full ecosystem of dropshipping from China, can lead a team, build smart workflows, and leverage AI to scale our operations if needed.

What You'll Do

You'll be the backbone of our customer experience and operations. Day-to-day, you'll handle customer inquiries across email, chat, and social media, resolve shipping issues, tracking concerns, refunds, and product questions, and manage disputes and chargebacks on PayPal, Stripe, and Shopify. You'll also coordinate with Chinese suppliers and agents on order issues, delays, and quality concerns, lead and mentor junior CS tea ---------- mbers, build and document SOPs, workflows, and automations to reduce repetitive work, and integrate AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, automation platforms, etc.) into our customer service and operational workflows.

What You Must Know

China Shipping & Logistics: deep understanding of Dropshipping suppliers, commonly used shipping lines, and private agents; familiarity with shipping timelines, customs issues, and tracking systems; experience working directly with sourcing agents in China.
Dispute & Chargeback Management: proven track record handling PayPal disputes, Stripe chargebacks, and Shopify resolutions; ability to write strong rebuttals and reduce dispute loss rates.
AI & Automation: hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for customer service; ability to build prompts,
Team Leadership: experience leading or training other VAs / CS reps, plus the ability to QA team performance and give constructive feedback.

Requirements

At least 3+ years in customer service, preferably with a dropshipping or eCommerce store. Excellent written English (we will test this). Stable internet, backup power, and a quiet work environment. Self-starter who doesn't need micromanagement.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience scaling a CS team from solo to 3+ reps, knowledge of Klaviyo or email marketing flows, basic understanding of Facebook/TikTok ad policies (since CS often ties into ad disputes), and your own AI prompt library or automation templates.
