JOB OVERVIEW

# Long-Term Google Ads Specialist Needed for Local Cleaning & Landscaping Lead Generation

We are looking for a reliable, long-term **Google Ads Specialist** to help manage and improve campaigns for two local service businesses:

**The Velvet Rose Cleaning Service**
**The Blooming Rose Landscaping**

This is a **long-term position for the right person**. We are not looking for someone who only sets up ads and disappears. We want someone who can help us improve campaigns weekly, track real leads, and grow with our businesses over time.

## Main Goal

The goal is to generate **real leads**, including:

* Phone calls
* Quote requests
* Form submissions
* Booked jobs
* Qualified local customers

We do **not** care about clicks and impressions alone. We care about leads that can become paying customers.

## Current Priority

Our current priority is **landscaping lead generation**, especially for:

* Yard cleanups
* Spring cleanups
* Mulching
* Lawn maintenance
* Weekly mowing
* Landscaping consultations

We may also run campaigns for residential cleaning services.

## Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

* Creating, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
* Improving lead quality and cost per lead
* Reviewing search terms weekly
* Adding negative keywords to reduce wasted spend
* Improving ad copy
* Reviewing campaign structure and keyword match types
* Checking location targeting
* Setting up or reviewing conversion tracking
* Tracking phone calls and form submissions
* Helping identify which leads are good and which are wasted
* Sending a simple weekly report every Friday

## Required Skills

You must have experience with:

1. **Google Ads for local lead generation**
Especially for local service businesses such as cleaning, landscaping, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, pest control, junk removal, lawn care, home improvement, or similar.

2. **Conversion tracking**
You must know how to track phone calls and form leads using tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking, GA4, CallRail, WhatConverts, GoHighLevel, Jobber, or similar tools.

3. **Weekly campaign optimization**
You must know how to review search terms, add negative keywords, improve ad copy, adjust keyword match types, and reduce wasted spend.

## Weekly Report Requirement

Every Friday, you must send a simple report showing:

* Total ad spend
* Number of calls
* Number of form leads
* Cost per lead
* Which campaigns or keywords performed best
* What was changed that week
* What search terms were blocked
* What you recommend for the next week

Reports must be simple enough for a small business owner to understand.

## Important

Please do **not** apply if you only report clicks, impressions, and CTR.

We need someone who understands:

* Cost per qualified lead
* Call quality
* Lead quality
* Booked jobs
* Wasted spend
* Local service intent

## To Apply

Please begin your application with the words:

**REAL LEADS**

Then answer these questions:

1. How many years of Google Ads experience do you have?

2. Have you personally managed Google Ads for local service businesses such as cleaning, landscaping, roofing, HVAC, pest control, plumbing, junk removal, lawn care, or home improvement?

3. What industries have you worked with?

4. How do you track phone calls and form leads from Google Ads?

5. If a campaign spends $500 in one week and gets 10 calls, but only 2 are good leads, what would you check and change first?

6. For a landscaping campaign, what keywords would you start with for yard cleanup, spring cleanup, mulching, lawn maintenance, and weekly mowing?

7. What negative keywords would you add right away?

8. What would you include in a weekly Google Ads report?

9. Can you send one sample report or screenshot from a local service campaign, with private client information removed?

10. Are you comfortable working directly with a small business owner and explaining results in simple language?

## Preferred Candidate

The best candidate is:

* Honest
* Reliable
* Proactive
* Good with local service businesses
* Focused on qualified leads, not vanity metrics
* Comfortable explaining results simply
* Able to work long-term
* Careful with ad budgets

We are looking for someone who treats the ad budget seriously and helps us grow through real calls, quote requests, and booked jobs. Please begin your application with the words “REAL LEADS”
