JOB OVERVIEW

About us
FDC Servers is a global infrastructure provider operating dedicated servers, VPS, colocation, and IP transit across 27 cities — Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, São Paulo, Chicago, and more. We've been in the business for 25+ years. Our customers are technical: developers running game servers, SaaS companies, streaming platforms, ISPs, and resellers. This is not shared/cPanel hosting — we sell racks, dedicated machines, VPS, and gigabits.

What you'll do
- Answer inbound live chat on our website and convert visitors to customers
- Quote dedicated servers, VPS, colocation, and bandwidth based on customer needs
- Help existing customers with pre-sales questions about upgrades and add-ons
- Hand off complex technical questions to our engineering team and follow up
- Hit a monthly target for chats handled and chats converted to orders
- Document common questions so we can improve our website and self-serve flows

Required experience
- 2+ years working in customer support, sales, or technical sales for a web hosting company, data center, or similar B2B infrastructure provider (HostGator, Liquid Web, Bluehost, Hostinger, GoDaddy, Namecheap, IONOS, SiteGround, A2 Hosting, InMotion, DreamHost, OVH, Hetzner, Contabo, Linode, Vultr, DigitalOcean, etc.)
- Native-level written English — your chats are read by international customers
- Comfortable explaining the difference between shared hosting, VPS, dedicated, and colocation
- Confident with sales — you can ask for the order, not just answer questions

Nice to have
- Experience selling dedicated servers, VPS, colocation, or IP transit (not shared hosting)
- Familiarity with WHMCS
- Basic understanding of bandwidth (95th percentile billing, IP transit, peering)
- Spoken English at a level you can do an occasional voice call

Shifts (pick one)
- US shift (10pm–6am Manila time)
- EU shift (3pm–11pm Manila time)

Compensation
- Base salary: USD $1,000–$1,800/month depending on experience
- 13th month pay
- Performance bonus tied to monthly conversion targets (typical $200–$500/month on top)

How to apply
Start your application message with the word HOSTPRO so we know you read this carefully. Then answer these three questions in your reply (no resume needed yet — we'll ask for that if your answers are good):

1. Which hosting company have you worked for, and what was your role? (Be specific — company name, dates, what you actually did.)
2. A customer chats us asking "do you have a 32 GB RAM dedicated server with 1Gbps unmetered bandwidth, available in Amsterdam, ready in 24 hours?" Walk me through how you'd respond. Don't worry about pricing — I want to see how you handle the conversation.
3. What's the difference between shared hosting, VPS, and dedicated server hosting, in your own words, written for a non-technical buyer?

Applications without the keyword HOSTPRO and without all three answers will not be reviewed.
