JOB OVERVIEW

We're a US-based home energy company (solar, battery storage, HVAC, roofing) headquartered in Southern California, looking to bring on a skilled Go High Level specialist as a long-ter ---------- mber of our team.
We operate two brands inside one GoHighLevel account: Apex Home Energy (active customer acquisition) and GR8 Energy (re-engagement campaigns to ~740 existing solar customers). You'll work across both sub-accounts daily.
ABOUT US:
• Owner-operated, US-based, established company
• Stable, long-term work — we want one person to grow with us, not freelance gigs • Direct communication with the owner (no middle managers)
• Existing systems documented — you won't be guessing what we want
WHAT YOU'LL DO (60% execution / 30% optimization / 10% reporting):
• Build and manage workflows, automations, and pipelines inside GoHighLevel
• Set up A2P 10DLC registration and SMS sending compliance
• Configure Mailgun (email) and Twilio (SMS/voice) for both sub-accounts
• Build email + SMS sequences for solar customer acquisition and re-engagement • Migrate an existing 5-part email sequence from Mailchimp into GHL
• Build and maintain calendars, booking forms, and intake forms
• Create landing pages and funnels using GHL's page builder
• Manage contacts, tags, smart lists, and pipeline stages daily
• Set up integrations via Zapier or ---------- when needed
• Build reporting dashboards and weekly performance summaries
• Document everything you build (we'll provide Loom for screen recording)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 2 years hands-on GoHighLevel experience (not just 'familiar with') • Built at least 10 complete workflows from scratch
• Set up A2P 10DLC registration successfully at least once
• Built email AND SMS sequences (not just one)
• Comfortable with GHL's page builder and form builder
• Twilio + Mailgun configuration experience
• Strong written English (you'll be writing customer-facing copy)
• Reliable internet (minimum 25 Mbps) and a backup
• Available for at least 6 hours overlap with US Pacific time
BONUS POINTS (not required):
• Solar, HVAC, or home services industry experience • Experience with snapshot creation and import
• White-label / agency-level GHL experience
• Familiarity with CCPA/TCPA compliance for SMS • Spanish language ability (for bilingual campaigns)
SCHEDULE & RATE:
• 30 hours/week to start (Mon–Fri, flexible within agreed overlap)
• Moves to 40 hours/week after successful 90-day review
• $9–$10/hour starting (based on demonstrated experience)
• Performance-based raise at 90 days, 6 months, 12 months
• 13th-month bonus paid each December for full-year tea ---------- mbers • Paid via Wise (preferred) or Payoneer, pay bi-weekly
