About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our remote finance team.
This is a broad accounting role suited for someone with solid hands-on experience and the ability to support financial reporting and provide insights to management. You will work across multiple entities and contribute to both day-to-day accounting operations and higher-level financial processes.
The ideal candidate is comfortable owning end-to-end accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting structured reporting to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations across multiple entities
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP): process supplier invoices, ensure correct coding, approvals, and timely payments
Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR): issue invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts
Perform bank and account reconciliations (bank, AP, AR, clearing accounts)
Support and participate in month-end closing (accruals, adjustments, clean ledgers)
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with cash flow tracking, expense monitoring, and vendor management
Support the preparation of financial reports for internal management
Ensure proper handling of tax-related matters, including VAT tracking and compliance
Assist with tax filings, documentation, and coordination with external advisors
Ensure consistency, compliance, and accuracy across accounting processes
Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and internal stakeholders as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or equivalent qualification preferred (or strong relevant experience)
Based in the Philippines
3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax basics, and VAT processes
Experience supporting tax compliance, filings, or working with external tax advisors
Experience preparing reports and supporting management-level reporting
Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Comfortable managing multiple entities and meeting deadlines
Nice to Have
Experience supporting international clients (EU)
Familiarity with cross-border VAT or multi-entity structures
Experience with payroll support or expense reimbursement processes
Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
