JOB OVERVIEW

2IC Engineer to CO-CEO/CAIO

Overview
You will report directly to the Co-CEO/Chief AI Officer operating across multiple client businesses through Praxis Partners, a premium consulting company delivering Digital-Department-as-a-Service (DDaaS) to established mid-market companies.

You will be required to identify business process constraints, analyse operational workflows, design, deploy and deliver systems architecture, integration and business value realisation. You will own every build from scoping through to documentation, and enforce standards across every environment. You will be expected to operate independently, autonomously, and hold yourself to an obsessive standard for quality, productivity, security, and documentation.

Scope of Work
We identify constraints, craft personalised technical strategy, and deliver transformation across core business functions. Every engagement follows a clearly defined process:

Question the need for a given system or process. Remove unnecessary requirements.
Simplify. Optimise. Introduce AI + Automation once natural constraints are eliminated.

If your instinct is to build tools or automation before mapping constraints, identifying risk, observing patterns, and understanding the client's fundamental need, this role is not for you.

Tools, Integrations, and APIs You Must Know
Core Stack (non-negotiable)
n8n, GoHighLevel (agency-level), Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, BigQuery, IAM, Secret Manager), GitHub, JavaScript (Node.js), REST API integration, Claude Code, Cursor.

Expected Proficiency
Notion (workspace architecture, databases, AI integration), Google Workspace, Slack, Zapier (webhook relay patterns), Cloudflare (DNS, Workers, Pages), Supabase, Python, JSON/webhook architecture, 1Password, Zoom, Xero, Stripe, Miro.

Exposure Preferred
Linear, MCP (Model Context Protocol) server development, ---------- v, ---------- , Shopify, Twilio, Framer, Meta APIs, ActiveCampaign, Plaud AI, Windsor AI, web scraping (Apify, Firecrawl).

Ideal Candidate
- Workflow automation across the full lifecycle: scope, map, build, test, error handling, documentation. Production systems, not demos.
- GoHighLevel agency administration: sub-account builds, pipeline architecture (Setter/Closer models), lead scoring, workflows, campaigns, calendar configuration, form builders, and Marketplace apps.
- n8n production workflows: 20+ node builds with complex branching, webhooks, API calls, conditional logic, retry handling, and error routing.
- API integration in production: REST API consumption, OAuth 2.0 configuration, pagination, rate limiting, webhook setup, and MCP connectors. Minimum 5 different services integrated in production.
- Data pipeline development: ingesting data from external APIs into BigQuery via Cloud Run HTTP scheduled jobs. Understanding of raw, semantic, and curated data layers.
- Notion workspace architecture, template creation, AI agent integration, and admin management.
- Prompt engineering for production LLM workflows.
- Custom code and application development using Cursor and Claude Code.
- Security and privacy standards across all client environments.
- Systems thinking. You see the connection between an API endpoint, a BigQuery table, an n8n workflow, and a GHL pipeline stage. You do not build in isolation.

What You Receive
- Direct hire.
- Work directly with the Co-CEO/CAIO. Your work has direct, visible impact on client delivery.
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- Access to paid AI tools and platforms (Claude Pro, Cursor, Perplexity) as part of your daily workflow.
- Full Loom video training library for every major system and architecture decision.
- One paid exploration day per month for self-directed learning.
- A clear growth pathway as the consultancy scales.
- Competitive remuneration with performance bonuses.
- Weekly pay for the first 2 months, then fortnightly.

Company: Praxis Partners

Hourly Rate: $7.00 - $12.00 USD/hour depending on experience

Hiring: Full-time

Time Commitment: 40 hours/week (AEST/SNG/THAI hours)

How to Apply
To be considered, start the first line of your application with: Pulsing-optic-simple-dash. This confirms you have read the full application instructions.

Screening Questions
1. Give a real example where you deleted or simplified a process instead of automating it.
2. Describe the most complex n8n workflow you have built in production. What did it do? How many nodes? What external services did it connect? What error handling did you implement?
3. Describe your GoHighLevel experience. How many sub-accounts have you configured? Have you built pipeline architectures with stage-based triggers and lead scoring?
4. Name 3 REST APIs you have integrated in production and one sentence about the data flow for each.
5. Automation. Elimination. Optimisation. Put these in an order that makes sense to you. Explain why.
6. What tools, apps and integrations are you most comfortable building on?

To be considered you must provide the secret key: "Pulsing-optic-simple-dash"

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a paid test project covering workflow automation, API integration, and CRM architecture before a final hiring decision is made.
