JOB OVERVIEW

???? BRAND OPERATOR NEEDED — Sun & Ocean Protection Product (Part-Time, Remote)

We're looking for a motivated, self starting virtual assistant to help grow an Australian sun and ocean protection spray brand. The product is proven and ready to scale we just need the right person to execute consistently.

This is a part-time remote role ( 20 hours/week) with room to grow as the brand grows.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

???? Social Media Management
• Schedule and post content across Instagram and TikTok (3-4x per week)
• Engage with followers, reply to comments and DMs
• Source and repurpose user-generated content (UGC)
• Monitor trends in the beauty, surf, travel and wellness space

???? Influencer & UGC Outreach
• Research and identify micro-influencers in the surf, beach, travel and lifestyle space
• Send outreach messages offering product in exchange for content
• Track responses, follow up, and manage gifting logistics
• Build and maintain an outreach tracker

???? Wholesale & Stockist Outreach
• Research potential wholesale buyers — surf shops, beach resorts, salons, spas, boutique retailers
• Write and send professional pitch emails introducing the product
• Follow up with leads and maintain a pipeline spreadsheet
• Handle initial back-and-forth communication before handing warm leads to the owner

???? Online Store Support
• Monitor Shopify (or equivalent) for orders, reviews, and customer messages
• Flag any issues and ensure smooth fulfilment communication
• Help identify and implement simple improvements to the store

???? Reporting
• Send a brief weekly update covering: outreach sent, responses received, content posted, and any wins or blockers

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

? Experience in social media management or digital marketing
? Strong written English especially for outreach and pitching
? Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
? Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and ideally Shopify
? Proactive someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
? Experience with influencer outreach or wholesale/B2B outreach is a big plus
? Passion for beauty, wellness, surf, or lifestyle brands is a bonus
