About the role

We're hiring an Assistant Video Editor to support a growing personal brand in the lifestyle, travel, and finance space. You'll work directly under our Lead Editor — executing edits, applying revisions, and producing volume at the brand standard.

This is a clean execution role. The strategy is built. The brand voice is built. The Lead Editor will brief you on every piece. Your job is to edit well, edit fast, and follow direction precisely.

You'll be cutting both short-form (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, podcast clips) and long-form (full podcast episodes, YouTube videos) content for one brand only.

What you'll do

- Edit short-form and long-form pieces from raw footage based on briefs from the Lead Editor
- Pull from Google Drive, save first-pass edits, hand off for review
- Apply revisions promptly and accurately
- Maintain naming conventions and folder organization
- Communicate daily via WhatsApp on progress, blockers, and questions
- Hit weekly output volume

What we're looking for

You should already be doing this work professionally and ready to commit to one client full-time.

- 2+ years of paid video editing experience
- Experience with both short-form and long-form editing
- Portfolio showing clean cuts, on-brand captions, smart pacing
- Solid English (written and spoken)
- Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro fluency
- Reliable internet, dedicated workspace, capable editing machine
- Available to work 7am–3pm EST consistently — non-negotiable
- Coachable, asks good clarifying questions, doesn't guess
