Capital Techies is a Managed IT Services Provider based in the Washington DC area with 20+ years in business. We support nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and SMBs across the US. You will be a core part of our service delivery operations, working directly with our US-based technical team and clients.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented dispatcher to manage our IT service ticket queue and coordinate our technical team's daily workload. This is not a technical role but you must be comfortable in a fast-paced IT environment and confident communicating with US clients.
Your Responsibilities
Monitor and manage the ticket queue in ConnectWise Manage throughout the day
Assign and schedule tickets to the right technician based on priority, skill, and availability
Communicate ticket status and updates to clients via
Flag SLA risks and escalate before deadlines are missed
Keep ticket records clean: accurate status, notes, and time entries
Coordinate scheduling for on-site technician dispatches
Support daily team standup prep and end-of-day queue review
Requirements
2+ years experience as a dispatcher, service coordinator, virtual assistant, or operations support role
Experience working with a PSA or ticketing system (ConnectWise, Autotask, Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar)
Excellent written and spoken English
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace
Availability to work US Eastern Time hours (8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred but Not Required
Prior experience supporting a US-based MSP or IT company
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, basic networking concepts, or IT terminology
Compensation
$700 to $900 USD per month depending on experience
Long-term, stable position with room to grow into an operations or account coordination role
