JOB OVERVIEW

We are a CPR and first aid training company focused on providing certified life-saving courses to individuals & organizations. We are looking for a Local SEO & Website Growth Specialist to lead and execute our SEO, content, local search visibility, and website updates.
This is a hands-on role focused on driving organic traffic, improving Google rankings, and keeping our website accurate and up to date with class schedules, pricing, and locations.

Responsibilities:
-SEO & Organic Growth-
Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve Google rankings
Conduct keyword research for CPR training, certifications, and local searches
Optimize website pages for search intent and conversions
Build and improve internal linking structure across pages
Monitor SEO performance and suggest improvements

-Content Creation & Management-
Write and publish SEO-optimized blog posts (CPR, first aid, safety topics)
Update and improve existing website content
Create landing pages for new locations, courses, or services
Ensure content is clear, accurate, and conversion-focused

-Local SEO-
Post updates (classes, schedules, promotions, announcements)
Improve local search visibility (“CPR classes near me” searches)
Support citation building (online CPR directories, listings)
Help improve review visibility and engagement strategy

-Website Management (CMS-Based)-
Update class schedules, dates, and availability
Update pricing pages and service information
Add/remove training locations and course pages
Upload blog posts and landing pages
Ensure website information is always accurate and current
Work within CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar)
Other duties as assigned

Required:
Bachelors Degree, Business Administration, Marketing or related field
2 years of experience in local SEO, digital marketing etc
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Experience in SEO and content writing
Basic experience managing websites (WordPress or similar CMS)
Strong English writing skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Attention to detail (especially for schedules and pricing updates)

Preferred:
4 years experience in local SEO, digital marketing, etc
Female

Compensation/Extras:
$3.00/hour (up to 10 hour weekly)
