Senior Video Editor (Luxury Real Estate)

Full-Time Position

We are a luxury real estate media company seeking a full-time Senior Video Editor who specializes in crafting high-end, cinematic property films. This role is for a highly skilled professional who understands storytelling, pacing, and premium color—and can consistently deliver polished, luxury-level video content.

About the Role

As our Senior Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing a steady volume of luxury real estate videos, including cinematic property tours, agent-led videos, and brand storytelling content.

Every project should reflect a refined, high-end aesthetic—clean edits, intentional pacing, natural yet elevated color grading, and seamless motion. This is not a template-driven role. We value precision, consistency, and creative craftsmanship.

Required Expertise
- 8+ years of professional video editing experience (senior level)
- Strong background in:
- Luxury real estate video editing
- Cinematic property tours
- Agent/on-camera videos
- Story-driven brand content

Advanced expertise in:
- High-end color grading (natural, clean, luxury tone)
- DaVinci Resolve (required)
- Speed ramping and motion timing
- Music-driven editing and pacing
- Clean, professional captioning for social and branding

Deep understanding of:
- Visual storytelling and narrative flow
- Shot selection and sequencing
- Matching footage across multiple cameras and lighting conditions
- Maintaining consistency across projects and clients

Technical Requirements / Advanced proficiency in:
- DaVinci Resolve (primary editing platform)
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Color management and node-based grading workflows
- Export settings for social media, MLS, and high-end marketing use

Strictly no reliance on:
AI-generated edits
Auto-cutting or template-based platforms

Someone who understands luxury pacing—when to slow down, when to build energy
Strong attention to detail (no sloppy cuts, mismatched color, or over-editing)
Ability to create emotion-driven edits, not just compile clips
Reliable communication and consistent turnaround times
Alignment with a premium, luxury brand aesthetic

Nice to Have
Experience editing $1M+ luxury listings
Familiarity with real estate marketing trends and agent branding
Experience working with drone footage and gimbal-based walkthroughs
