JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Civil Designer to join our team full time. This is a long-term position, not a project-by-project or freelance role.

We plan to select approximately three qualified candidates to complete a test/sample project. After reviewing the work, communication, accuracy, and overall fit, one candidate will be selected for the full-time role. We expect to make a hiring decision within the next month, if not sooner.

The ideal candidate must have strong civil engineering design experience and be able to assist with real production plan sets for U.S.-based projects.

Experience should include:

1. Site plans
2. Grading plans
3. Drainage plans
4. Utility plans
5. Paving plans
6. Erosion control plans
7. Civil plan sheets for permitting
8. Land development and commercial site design
9. Coordination with engineers, architects, and project managers

Must be experienced with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Applicants must be able to show examples of previous civil design work, including actual plan sheets or project examples. We need to review your work before selecting candidates for the sample project phase.

Please also indicate whether you currently have access to a licensed version of Civil 3D. If you do, please clarify whether it is your own license or provided by a current employer. For the right full-time candidate, company-provided software access may be considered after skills, experience, and work samples are verified.

This position requires someone dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working with a team on steady civil engineering projects. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company, not just complete one project.
