JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

Jumper Media is expanding our Ads Management capacity! We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Media Buyer to take ownership of client ad accounts, starting with our returning clients.

We are bringing on a dedicated Media Buyer to independently manage multiple client accounts, drive consistent performance, and ensure we never have a single point of dependency.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, launching, testing, managing, optimizing, and scaling paid advertising campaigns across platforms (specifically Meta and Google/YouTube). Your ultimate objective is to meet agreed performance targets (CPL, ROAS, lead volume) while managing spend efficiently and maintaining pristine account health.

Key Responsibilities

Translate client business goals into concrete media plans.
Determine budget splits, audience targeting, and overall account structure.
Set up campaigns inside ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google/YouTube).
Configure audiences (lookalike, interest, retargeting, custom), ensure proper conversion tracking (pixels, events, UTMs), and load creative/copy in coordination with our creative team.
Allocate and pace daily/monthly budgets across clients and campaigns.
Choose bidding strategies, scale winning ads, and cut underperformers to hit efficiency targets.
Monitor performance daily. Run structured tests on creatives, audiences, placements, and offers.
Reallocate budgets toward winners, flag creative fatigue, and request refreshed assets when needed.
Track core KPIs (CPL, ROAS, CTR, CPM, conversion rate, spend, hook rate, frequency).
Build clear, client-facing reports and translate raw data into actionable recommendations.
Keep clients updated on performance and strategy.
Manage expectations and coordinate closely with the creative team and client account managers.
Stay up-to-date on platform changes and ad policies.
Maintain compliance, resolve ad rejections or restrictions quickly, and proactively notify clients of any billing issues.

Requirements (Non-Negotiables):

Strong, proven background in Meta/Facebook media buying.
Must have experience running Google/YouTube Ads, or possess the ability and willingness to fully ramp up on these platforms within your first 90 days.
Proven history of successfully managing paid accounts and hitting client KPIs.
Deep competence with conversion tracking, including pixels, standard/custom events, and UTM parameters.
Strong ability to read data, build reports, and make data-backed decisions.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously without letting performance or communication slip.
Clear, professional client-facing communication skills.
Deep understanding of platform ad policies to maintain account health.
Experience working with agencies.

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications):

Strong instincts for ad creative and direct-response copywriting.
Familiarity with landing page optimization and third-party attribution software.
Prior experience working in an agency environment managing multiple clients.

Success Metrics & Expectations:

(First 30-60 Days): Fully ramped up and independently managing client's Meta ads only. Meeting their agreed KPIs, keeping account health clean, and reporting reliably with minimal oversight.
Managing multiple client accounts independently with consistent performance, maintaining strong client retention, and demonstrating full cross-platform capability (Meta + Google/YouTube) so we can confidently scale client base.
