We are looking for a sharp, numbers-driven Financial Analyst who can quickly learn our valuation process and help evaluate small to mid-sized businesses for acquisition and sale.
This is not a bookkeeping or data entry position.
We need someone who can analyze financial statements, think critically, identify opportunities and risks, and help determine realistic business valuations. You will work directly with me on live business opportunities across multiple industries.
What You'll Be Doing
Review and analyze:
• Profit & Loss Statements
• Tax Returns
• Balance Sheets
• General Ledgers
• Bank Statements when necessary
Input financial data into an existing Excel-based valuation model.
Analyze:
• Revenue trends
• Profitability
• EBITDA
• Seller Discretionary Earnings (SDE)
• Add-backs
• Owner benefits and discretionary expenses
• One-time or non-recurring expenses
• Operational inefficiencies
• Cash flow trends
Identify inconsistencies, ask intelligent questions, and help uncover the true earning power of a business.
Assist in determining realistic valuation ranges based on financial performance, risk factors, industry trends, and deal structure.
Translate financial findings into simple, easy-to-understand language for business owners, buyers, and investors.
Verify calculations and ensure all analysis is accurate before submission.
AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude may be used to improve efficiency, but all work must be reviewed and verified manually.

Accuracy, judgment, and attention to detail are more important than speed.
That said, we need someone who is a fast learner, highly motivated, and able to start immediately.
