JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled, licensed CPA to manage the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for a Dutch Fiscal Unity consisting of four entities. You will be responsible for ensuring that the administration is "audit-ready" or "compilation-ready", managing complex intercompany reconciliations, and ensuring full compliance with Dutch accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
Full Cycle Accounting: Manage the daily/monthly bookkeeping and financial processing for all four entities within the fiscal unity.

Year-End File Preparation: Prepare high-quality working papers and lead the preparation of the annual accounts to create the financial statements according to Dutch GAAP.

Fiscal Unity Management: Handle complex intercompany transactions, eliminations, and corrections within the fiscal unity structure.

Compliance & Corrections: Perform period-end closing procedures, including VAT reconciliations and necessary journal corrections.

Software Management: Maintain the administration within Exact Online, ensuring optimal use of the system's features.

Audit/Tax Readiness: Serve as the primary point of contact for the external tax advisor or auditor, providing all necessary documentation for Corporate Income Tax (VPB) filings.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Licensure: Active CPA or equivalent international certification.

Dutch Expertise: Proven experience with Dutch GAAP and the Dutch fiscal landscape.

Software: Proficiency in Exact Online ( ---------- ) is necessary to complete this project.

Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in complex accounting environments, preferably having worked with holding structures or fiscal unities.

Language: Professional fluency in English; the ability to read Dutch financial terminology and legal documents is a significant advantage. (AI translations & usage allowed)

Analytical Rigor: Strong attention to detail regarding intercompany balances and corrections.
