The Role
This role is focused on winning work, not just “posting content”.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and executing a practical marketing strategy
Generating qualified leads (Residential, builders, developers, Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors)
Building and managing a structured CRM and pipeline
Supporting tender opportunities and business development
Positioning QCG as a credible, go-to concrete/civil contractor in QLD
Key Responsibilities
Create and implement a targeted marketing plan for the Austrlian, QLD construction market
Drive lead generation through:
LinkedIn outreach
Strategic partnerships
Set up and manage a CRM system (tracking leads, follow-ups, conversions)
Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities
Assist with capability statements, submissions, and brand positioning
Track performance and report on:
Leads generated
Conversion rates
Pipeline value
What We’re Looking For
Proven ability to generate leads that turn into real work
Experience in construction, civil, or B2B services (preferred)
Strong understanding of relationship-based selling
Experience setting up and managing CRM systems
Practical, hands-on mindset — not just strategy
Strong communication and initiative
Bonus (Not Essential)
Experience working with contractors or subcontractors
Knowledge of Austalian, QLD construction market
Experience with tender platforms (EstimateOne, Felix, etc.)
Basic understanding of construction scopes (concrete, civil, FRP)
What Success Looks Like
Consistent flow of qualified opportunities
Clear and active pipeline of work
Improved conversion from lead ? tender ? awarded project
Stronger market presence with the right clients
