== THE POSITION ==
As the E-Commerce Manager, your primary responsibility is to identify profitable products, source reliable suppliers, and oversee backend Amazon FBA operations. This is a management role—not a general Virtual Assistant position—and requires someone who can take ownership, think independently, and continuously learn with minimal supervision.
You'll be responsible for turning product ideas into successful inventory by managing the entire process, from product research and supplier outreach to profitability analysis and listing support. You'll also be expected to leverage the company's e-commerce training resources and coaching program to develop your knowledge and apply industry best practices without relying on constant guidance.
This is a build-phase role, meaning you'll play a key role in laying the foundation of the business. The focus is on quality over quantity—identifying and launching a select number of highly profitable products rather than pursuing high-volume listings.

-> Requirements:
• Experience with Amazon FBA or other similar marketplace is a must
• Strong analytical and research skills
• High attention to detail (critical for margins & logistics)
• Strong written English
• Ability to follow systems and learn quickly
• Resourcefulness in finding suppliers and opportunities
• Available to work full-time (40 hrs/wk).
• Can work during standard US business hours.
• Fast, stable internet connection (Minimum download speed 10 Mbps)
• Working computer/laptop (Minimum Requirement: Processor - Intel i5 or equivalent, RAM - 8GB).
• Backup power source or work location for power outages.
-> Tools/Software:
• Google Workspace (Sheets), MS Office (Excel), Amazon Seller Central, various research & product validation tools
-> Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with product research tools
• Experience in wholesale sourcing or online arbitrage
-> Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Research high-demand, profitable products on Amazon and other marketplaces
• Analyze sales velocity, competition, pricing trends, and profit margins
• Create weekly shortlists (5–10 vetted products) with strong potential
• Identify and reach out to wholesalers and suppliers
• Build supplier relationships through
• Assist with onboarding requirements and negotiate pricing when needed
• Calculate full landed costs including product cost, shipping, and Amazon fees
• Ensure all products meet profitability thresholds before approval
• Flag potential risks such as low margins or slow-moving inventory
• Coordinate shipments to Amazon warehouses (FBA)
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with Amazon standards
• Monitor inventory levels and product performance
• Assist with product listings (titles, descriptions, keywords)
• Track rankings, sales trends, and optimize listings over time
• Prepare weekly buying recommendations including:
– Direct purchase links
– Cost breakdown
– Expected profit margins
