JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Remote Part-Time Accountant to support our team.

We strongly prefer candidates who have previous accounting or bookkeeping experience with Canadian companies, especially companies operating in Ontario and Quebec.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support bookkeeping and accounting operations on a part-time basis
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Perform reconciliations and check transaction accuracy
- Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, and financial documentation
- Prepare reports and accounting summaries as required
- Help keep records organized, accurate, and up to date

Requirements:
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support
- Experience with Canadian companies is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Ontario and/or Quebec business environments is a strong advantage
- Good understanding of accounting processes and reconciliations
- Good English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Responsible, organized, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working remotely on a part-time basis
- Stable internet connection and reliable work-from-home setup

Preferred:
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar accounting systems
- Experience in AP/AR, reporting, bookkeeping, or payroll-related accounting support
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly in a remote setup

Compensation:
Negotiable and based on experience.
