About HOVA Media:
HOVA (Healthy Online Voices Amplified) is a specialized media production company that helps medical professionals, clinics, and healthcare practices build massive authority and trust through high-tier video content.

The Role:
I am looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team. Initially, this is a part-time role (paid per video) with the potential to become full-time. You will be taking batch-filmed, podcast-style footage and turning it into a complete content ecosystem.

If you know how to edit highly credible, science-backed content (think "Huberman Lab" style) and understand the "Colin & Samir" playbook (packaging first, strong hooks, and high viewer retention), this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:
• Edit deep-dive, long-form educational YouTube videos to look clean, polished, and authoritative.
• Repurpose long-form foundation footage into engaging mid-form and short-form vertical clips optimized for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Manage project workflows and details using Google Sheets.
• Post and schedule final videos across multiple social media platforms.
• Help streamline workflows using AI tools for clipping and post-production.

Requirements:
• Proficient in professional editing software (Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) as well as CapCut for rapid social formatting.
• Proficiency in AI tools like ChatGPT
• A strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and retention specifically for educational content.
• Attention to detail and the ability to make a medical professional look incredibly trustworthy and professional.
