JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a Content Research and Ideation Assistant to help our team create stronger content each week.

This is not a random research role.
This is not a “watch pages and send links” role.

Your job is to study competitor and reference accounts, break down what is actually working, explain why it works, and turn that into usable content ideas our team can apply right away.

You will be working closely with the founder and the rest of the content team.

If you are good at spotting patterns, understanding what makes content perform, and turning research into useful ideas, this role could be a strong fit.

What You’ll Be Working On

Our company is in the credit repair, lender readiness, and business funding space.

We create content for entrepreneurs, side hustle business owners, and growth minded people who want access to capital, better approvals, and stronger financial options, but whose personal credit is blocking that path right now.

That means the content needs to do more than look good.
It needs to speak to pain, urgency, trust, leverage, funding, approvals, and transformation.

Your job is to help us find what is working in the market so our content team can build better content from it.

What You Will Be Doing

Study 3 competitor or reference Instagram accounts each week

Break down what is working in their content and why

Track things like hooks, post formats, calls to action, storytelling patterns, thumbnail styles, proof elements, emotional triggers, and conversion angles

Turn research into usable content ideas, angles, and recommendations

Submit one clean weekly intel brief every Monday by end of day

Share observations and patterns without needing to be asked

Help the founder and content team understand what to test, improve, or avoid

What We Need From You

Strong written English

Good judgment and pattern recognition

Ability to explain why content works, not just say that it works

Familiarity with Instagram, Reels, Stories, carousel content, and modern social media formats

Ability to work independently and stay organized

Reliable internet and equipment

Comfortable giving honest observations and useful pushback when something does not make sense

Bonus Points

Experience in social media management, content strategy, or marketing research

Experience supporting US based founders or teams

Understanding of credit, finance, business coaching, or personal brand content

Experience studying hooks, audience psychology, and performance patterns

Who This Role Is Best For

This role is best for someone who enjoys breaking content down, spotting patterns, and turning research into clear ideas a team can actually use.

You are probably a fit if:

You naturally notice what makes people stop scrolling

You can explain hooks, angles, and patterns clearly

You like turning messy observations into useful recommendations

You do not need daily hand holding to do good work

You can think inside your lane and bring useful ideas forward

This role is probably not for you if:

You need step by step direction every day

You only summarize what you saw without explaining why it matters

You wait around for permission before making simple decisions

You struggle to turn research into clear action

What Success Looks Like

You consistently deliver a strong weekly intel brief

Your ideas help the content team create better hooks, better posts, and better angles

You bring useful observations without being chased down

Your research becomes something the team can actually use, not just read once and ignore

About Working With Us

We move fast.
We expect ownership.
We give direction and expect execution.

You do not need to be perfect, but you do need to be thoughtful, proactive, and able to work without constant follow up.

If you want to grow with a US based business and build real skill in content research, ideation, and strategy support, this is a good role.

If you want one off gigs or constant hand holding, this is not the right fit.
